Warm Up Cafe
A long-standing fixture on Nimmanahaeminda Road, Warm Up Cafe has earned its place as one of Chiang Mai's most enduring nightclubs, drawing a consistent crowd of locals and travellers alike. The venue spans multiple zones, moving between live music areas and a main dance floor, which gives guests room to shift the energy of their evening depending on their mood. Food is available alongside drinks — finger food through to fuller mains — making it a practical choice for those who want to eat and drink without splitting the night across separate venues. The atmosphere follows a predictable and well-worn rhythm: quieter and more relaxed in the early evening, then building steadily until the crowd peaks after 10 PM. Wait staff are regularly noted for attentiveness, and mid-range pricing keeps the evening accessible. The dance floor does get tight as the night progresses, with tables positioned close to the action, so those who prefer more breathing room may find the later hours less comfortable. Arriving around 8 PM is a reasonable approach for anyone who wants a calmer entry point before the venue fills out. Warm Up Cafe sits along Nimmanahaeminda Road, a stretch well-stocked with bars and restaurants, making it an easy addition to a broader evening in the Nimman neighbourhood.

Visitor Reviews
Went there with 3 other friends for beer and finger food after dinner. Around 8 plus the crowd is low but after 10pm the whole area is bustling with alot of patrons. Food wise there are mains to finger food and for drinks lots of selection. Service is good especially we ordered beer and they will keep helping to top up your beer glasses. Live band and music is the famous attraction so if you like live band will definitely enjoy it. Overall, it is worth coming for beer or other alcohol sessions with friends.
Warm Up Cafe remains one of Chiang Mai’s most iconic and popular nightclubs for a reason. It has been a staple of the city's nightlife for many years, offering a great variety of zones—from live music to high-energy dance floors. In my experience, the service is always good, which is impressive given how busy it can get. It is an essential stop for anyone wanting to experience the local party scene in a well-established venue. Highly recommended for a fun night out with a reliable atmosphere!
One of the best local bar I’ve visited in Chiangmai. Wait staffs very attentive. No trouble at all with securities. Priced quite reasonable. Ordered some finger food which tasted good. Usually place will be full nearer to midnight. So far this trip I’ve already went 3 times. Live band plays mainly thai songs with some English songs once a while. Has another club at the rear for this into clubbing.

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
