Tops Powerbuy Hua Hin
Tops Powerbuy on Phet Kasem Road combines a well-stocked supermarket with a Powerbuy electronics section under one roof, making it one of the more versatile everyday shopping stops in Hua Hin. The supermarket carries fresh produce, baked goods, Thai and international groceries, household essentials, and personal care products, while the electronics side stocks appliances and consumer goods with knowledgeable staff on hand for advice and after-sales support. A small café and food vendor near the exit adds a convenient spot to grab a bite before or after shopping, all at local Thai prices. The atmosphere is clean, air-conditioned, and organised, with a practical layout suited to both quick top-ups and more thorough grocery runs. Visitors can expect a comfortable, no-fuss environment that caters to residents and travellers alike. The selection of imported and specialty items makes it particularly useful for those staying in self-catering accommodation and looking for ingredients that might be harder to find elsewhere in town. One practical note: the store restocks throughout the day on Mondays, which can temporarily disrupt shelf access in certain aisles. Visiting later in the day on Mondays, or on any other morning when shelves are freshly stocked, tends to offer the smoothest experience. The store is open every day from 8am to 10pm, and its position on the main Phet Kasem Road makes it straightforward to reach by taxi or songthaew from most parts of Hua Hin.

Visitor Reviews
This store offers a wide variety of quality products, including food, drinks, electronics, and household goods 🛍️🍽️🔌. You can find fresh and clean baked goods, and the store itself is well-organized, tidy, and free of any unpleasant odors ✅✨. Prices are slightly above the national average, but the value for money remains excellent 💰👍. There is also a food and beverage service, allowing you to sit and enjoy a meal or drink ☕🍛. Additionally, the outdoor café offers items at local Thai prices, making it a great choice for budget-conscious shoppers 🌴🍹. The electronics section is extensive, offering a variety of items worth exploring 🔋📱. However, one noticeable issue is the attitude of the staff 😕. They often appear tired and uninterested, making customers hesitant to ask for assistance. Unfortunately, this is a common problem in many stores, and a solution should be found to improve staff training and engagement 🏬⚠️. Despite this, the high quality and freshness of the products keep bringing us back. If you're looking for a clean, well-stocked store with a great selection of goods, this is still a solid choice! ✅🛒
We had a problem with our TV, it didn't work anymore. We got a great service at Power Buy. They are very friendly, helpful and they know about their products. I would particularly like to thank Mr Aittphon. Within two days, he arranged at TCL to collect the television for repair. Excellent work, considering that I had been calling the TCL call centre for a week without making any progress. Thank you very much Mr. Aittphon :-)
They have an excellent selection of baked goods, as well as electronics, household goods, food items, and a nice little coffee and food vendor. Nice outside café with everything at local Thai price. Great value for your money. All my favorite places to come have coffee and a pastry item.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
