The Chocolate Factory Huahin
The Chocolate Factory Huahin is an upscale chocolate shop, dessert café, and dining destination rolled into one, situated in Hua Hin's coastal resort town. The venue produces its chocolates in-house, giving visitors the chance to browse and purchase artisan confections that range from classic European-style pieces to locally inspired flavours such as Thai Tea. The food side of the operation has its own following, with a menu reportedly overseen by a well-regarded local chef and dishes that visitors describe as thoughtfully presented — the crispy pork in particular draws positive attention. The atmosphere is relaxed and refined, making it a comfortable spot for a leisurely stop between beach activities or sightseeing. Chocolates are crafted in small, gift-friendly sizes and presented in a way that suits both personal indulgence and souvenir shopping. A café counter also serves chocolate-based drinks for those wanting to taste before they buy. The combination of a working confectionery, sit-down dining, and a curated retail selection makes it a more layered experience than a standard sweet shop. Good to know: The Chocolate Factory opens daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, so it works equally well as an afternoon treat or an evening outing. As an upscale establishment, pricing is higher than typical market fare, so it is worth visiting with that expectation in mind. Check their Facebook page before visiting for any seasonal flavours or promotions.

Visitor Reviews
I kept seeing this place as I was driven to other places around Hua Hin. I felt an urge to go before my vacation was over so on a down day I got dropped off here and I was not disappointed. I did not patronize the restaurant, but how to in the future. I enjoyed everything I bought from brownies to chocolate to wine. The staff was smiling and helpful with a sense they were happy to help you. I got a wine bottle from Australia, so I already knew this would be good, but price wise it might've been a bit high. Either way my overall bill was fine. I will go back here.
Nice dining experience. Food is amazing and presented nice way. Staff have great service and smily. Happy to come back.
During our visit to Chocolate Factory Hua Hin, we were impressed by the variety of petite, in-house-made chocolates available. The chocolates are nicely crafted, and there are many interesting dessert options to choose from. We decided to try the chocolate lava cake, which came with a dry ice presentation. The smoky effect created a visually exciting moment and added a sense of drama to the dessert, making it a unique experience. That said, the service quality did not meet expectations, especially considering Thailand’s well-known hospitality standards. We were not greeted upon arrival, which immediately felt unwelcoming. When the lava cake was served, the waitress placed the dessert at the corner of the table and poured water onto the dry ice without explaining anything beforehand. There was no warning or introduction to the presentation, which was disappointing because this was clearly a moment many guests would want to photograph or record. After pouring the water, the staff simply walked away without checking on us or engaging further. While the food and desserts were enjoyable, the lack of attentiveness and basic customer interaction affected the overall experience. With better service and communication, this place could be much more enjoyable.

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
