Oroma Massage - ร้านนวด โอโรม่า

4.6(117 reviews)

Situated on Phet Kasem Road in central Hua Hin, Oroma Massage is a local wellness venue offering a range of treatments including traditional Thai massage, aromatherapy massage, foot massage, Thai balm massage, and body scrub packages. The shop draws a steady mix of locals and visitors, and its therapists have earned particular praise by name — a sign that the quality of individual practitioners is a genuine draw rather than an afterthought. The atmosphere leans toward a genuine neighbourhood spa experience rather than a polished resort setting. Couples are catered for with dedicated couple rooms, and staff are noted for being attentive to specific concerns such as shoulder and neck tension. Treatments are described as clean, reasonably priced, and relaxing, with multi-hour packages combining scrubs and aromatherapy available for those wanting a more comprehensive session. As with most local massage shops in Thailand, opening hours and advance booking information are not listed online, so it is worth visiting in person or calling ahead to check availability and confirm session times — particularly during peak holiday periods. Some reviews note inconsistency in session timing, so confirming the exact duration of your chosen treatment at the time of booking is a sensible precaution. Comfortable, loose clothing is advisable if you plan to take a traditional Thai massage.

My husband and I stayed in Hua Hin for a week. On day 1, we found Oroma Massage, and the two therapists, Baw and Arm, had us hooked on foot massages. They each have their own strengths: Baw, with her listening hands, was able to isolate areas that needed specific attention. Arm, with his long, consistent strokes from superficial to deep—depending on the tissues' needs—took an integrative approach. We decided to alternate therapists, taking turns with each one every day, as we found benefits with both. My husband's bunion is feeling better. He now has better control when pressing down into his big toe, which had previously been weak here. We both did a lot of walking by choice for exercise and found that the massages kept us re-energized the next day. These two therapists don't repeat practiced techniques as a routine; instead, they address the individual as required. The best thing to do is give them a try.

It was the best massage shop I’ve been to in Hua Hin — truly the most professional one. I had a massage with therapist Nuk, and all my muscle tension completely melted away. I’m really sad I couldn’t visit more often. It’s a popular place with many returning customers, so I highly recommend making a reservation before you go. The location was a bit inconvenient for me, but it was absolutely worth it.

Today I requested an aromatherapy massage, but I had shoulder and neck pain. The staff were very attentive and took good care of it. I felt very grateful and felt great afterwards. They pointed out the areas I needed massaged and suggested a suitable, unhurried massage time of two hours, which was perfect for me.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas

Learn Wat Pho First

Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.

Communicate Pressure Preferences

Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.

Book Longer Sessions

A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
