Riverside Plaza Bangkok
Sitting along Charoen Nakhon Road in Thon Buri, this four-storey shopping centre offers a noticeably calmer alternative to the large, high-traffic malls in the immediate area. Its striking glass architecture gives the space a modern, airy feel, and the riverside setting adds a pleasant backdrop that sets it apart from more conventional urban retail destinations. It draws a mix of locals and visitors looking for a low-key spot to shop, eat, and take a breath. Inside, the layout is compact and easy to navigate, with a straightforward selection of everyday retail, restaurants, and well-known coffee chains including Starbucks and The Coffee Club. Dining options are a particular draw, with enough variety to support a leisurely meal or a relaxed coffee stop. Restroom facilities are well-maintained, and the overall environment is clean and comfortable. There is no grocery store on-site for those looking to stock up on essentials. Open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, the mall fits easily into most itineraries. Arriving in the late afternoon works well, particularly as a wind-down stop after visiting nearby attractions such as ICONSIAM. On-site parking is available for those travelling by car, and the Charoen Nakhon Road location makes it reasonably accessible for visitors already exploring this part of the city.

Visitor Reviews
Mini escape from the crowds of Icon Siam. I think this plaza exudes a modern, almost luxurious vibe, thanks in no small part to the stunning glass architecture. The Starbucks and Coffee Club sots at the entrance which gives it a good vibe for me. The light floods in, creating a bright and airy atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing with a latte and watching the world go by. One top feature for me is this plaza is incredibly dog-friendly! Our little lady absolutely loved the mini-park, where she could zoom around and chase her ball to her heart's content. Meanwhile, we could relax with a coffee from Coffee Club, a pastry from the bakery, or even a burger from Burger King, all while keeping an eye on her. Talk about a win-win! Besides the stylish Coffee Club, you'll find a decent range of food options and services. Shout out to reasonably-stocked Daiso for any essentials you might need. If you're looking for a dog-friendly spot with great food, a touch of modern elegance, and a more laid-back atmosphere, this plaza is definitely worth checking out. It's an easy PickUp and drop off location for GRAB also.
The location is good for dropping yourself for leisure. Many choices of restaurant to choose and good coffee shop there includes all facilities you may need to complete before go to town. Easy access by public transportation and self arrangement. The building also walk through to Avani River Side Hotel too. So convenient.
One of a shopping mall in this are which not too crowded as the big one. No grocery store to fill your kitchen and home. Parking are available on their building.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
