SIN Rooftop Bar Bangkok
Perched on the 27th floor of the Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel on the Thon Buri side of the Chao Phraya River, this rooftop cocktail bar offers a panoramic stretch of the Bangkok skyline and the river below. The setting comes into its own after dark, when the illuminated cityscape creates a distinctly romantic backdrop. Regular live DJ sets push the energy toward club territory, giving SIN a livelier pulse than many of Bangkok's more laid-back rooftop venues. The bar serves well-crafted cocktails alongside food options including fresh juices and seafood — the Gillardeau oysters have drawn specific mention from guests. The atmosphere skews upscale but relaxed, drawing a mix of hotel guests, tourists, and locals. Service is a consistent highlight, with multiple visitors singling out individual staff members by name for attentive, warm hospitality that goes beyond the expected. SIN opens daily at 5:00 PM, closing at 1:00 AM Sunday through Thursday and 2:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. Arriving before 7:00 PM is a practical move for anyone wanting to catch the sunset and claim a good seat before the space fills up. Smart casual dress is the standard — beachwear won't cut it here. The bar is reachable via BTS Skytrain to Krung Thon Buri station or by water taxi directly to the hotel's riverside pier.

Visitor Reviews
We had such a wonderful time at Sin Rooftop Bar. From the moment we arrived, Jae ,Gift, and Au took incredible care of us. They were consistently attentive, making sure we always had everything we needed. Even when we wanted to order things that weren’t on the menu, they helped us with so much kindness and a smile every time. The atmosphere was perfect , not crowded at all, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. The live DJ created such a great vibe, and we were lucky to enjoy an absolutely beautiful sunset from the rooftop. The place itself is stunning, and the service truly made the night unforgettable. Highly recommended! We’ll absolutely be coming back. ❤️
This rooftop is absolutely amazing! Out of all the rooftops in Bangkok, this one is my personal favorite. Even though it's on the 27th floor, the view of the river at night is breathtaking and so romantic. The music was incredible, and the DJ was a real pro. The cocktails were delicious, and the staff provided excellent service. Entry is free. We ordered a cocktail each, and the total was around 1400 THB. Given the great atmosphere and the vibe, it’s definitely worth it! My only wish is that more people would get up and dance because the music is just too good. I will definitely be back!
I was staying at the hotel for 3 nights and stopped by one evening for a drink and light bite to eat. SIN is located in the Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel. I had the fresh lime juice and Gillardeau Oysters classic mignonette, lemon wedge (6 pieces). Very nice. I would suggest making a reservation if you can. I luckily managed to grab the last bar seat as a walk-in. The setting is stunning as are the views. Really good music. Excellent service and friendly staff. Pricey but worth a treat.

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
