The Bell Pool Villa Resort Phuket

4.5(577 reviews)

Nestled in the quieter enclave of Kamala on Phuket's west coast, The Bell Pool Villa Resort offers a collection of private pool villas designed for couples and small groups seeking seclusion without sacrificing convenience. The resort's location strikes a practical balance — far enough from the busiest tourist strips to feel tranquil, yet well-positioned for day trips across the island. Villas are contemporary in style, spacious, and come with dedicated butler service, making it a popular choice for those celebrating special occasions or simply looking to unwind in relative privacy.

Guests consistently highlight the warmth and attentiveness of the staff as a standout feature of the experience, with personalised assistance for activities, transport, and excursions frequently mentioned. The resort also offers on-site dining and drinks in a chic setting. That said, some visitors have noted that ongoing construction in the area can disrupt the atmosphere, and a few have felt the overall offering doesn't always align with the premium price point — worth factoring in when setting expectations.

Prospective guests are advised to check directly with the resort regarding any active construction or renovation work before booking, particularly for longer stays or special occasions. Reaching out in advance to the concierge team to arrange activities and transport is recommended, as personalised pre-arrival planning appears to significantly enhance the overall experience. The resort's website at thebellphuket.com provides current villa availability and package options.

Reviews from Google

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one truly matters. Our stay was exceptional for one reason alone: Melody. Melody arranged everything - all the activities, transportation, drivers, timings - absolutely every detail of our trip. She did this after hours and on her days off, responding to messages immediately from early morning until midnight. At no point did we feel unattended or uncertain; she was always there. We are a family of seven from the UAE, and travelling with a family this size is never simple. Melody made it seamless. Effortless. This was, without question, the most amazing trip we have ever taken. I will return to this hotel specifically because of her. We travel alot and I have never experienced service like this before - so personal, so committed, and so genuinely caring. I would 100% recommend this hotel because of Melody alone. She is exceptional and an absolute credit to the hotel. Thank you, Melody. You made our trip unforgettable!

Overall, we had a very nice stay. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and always willing to assist, which really made a difference and is one of the highlights of the experience. That said, the location of the hotel is not ideal and feels a bit inconvenient if you want to move around easily. Communication was also a challenge at times — the application used to communicate with guests isn’t very effective, which led to several instances of miscommunication from their end. Breakfast is another area that really needs improvement. The variety is quite limited, and the food doesn’t feel very fresh compared to what you’d expect from a resort at this level. Despite these points, the stay was still enjoyable overall, mainly thanks to the staff and the general atmosphere.

The experience at Bell Pool Villa Resort was overall tolerable, but for the price paid, it did not meet the standards expected in Thailand. There are ongoing construction works, which made the stay noisy and disruptive. We also encountered bugs in the bed, which is unacceptable at this level. Housekeeping entered the villa without permission; the reception later justified this by saying their policy allows entry if the “Do Not Disturb” sign is not hung. I personally find this policy unreasonable and a violation of privacy. Additionally, not all showers were working properly, and it was clear that the property needs maintenance and better upkeep. That said, I would like to thank Melody, the customer manager, for her support and genuine efforts to make the situation better—she handled things professionally. Unfortunately, her efforts cannot fully compensate for the broader issues with the property itself. In summary, while the stay was manageable, for this amount of money, it is not worth it, and the resort does not currently meet Thailand’s hospitality standards.
