The Riverfront Reserve Pai
Nestled along the riverbank in Pai, The Riverfront Reserve Pai offers a collection of wooden cottages and chalets that combine rustic charm with thoughtful comfort. The property sits directly opposite the bamboo bridge that leads to Pai's lively walking street, placing guests within easy reach of the town's food stalls and nightlife while remaining insulated from the noise. The river setting, wooden decor, and well-appointed interiors create an atmosphere that leans naturally romantic and restorative. Guests can expect spotless, cozy accommodations with the gentle sound of the river as a constant backdrop. The chalets are newly built and carefully decorated, with visitors frequently noting the warm welcome from staff upon arrival. The balance the property strikes between accessibility and tranquility is a recurring highlight — close enough to walk into town for the evening, quiet enough to sleep well at night. As a relatively new property, rooms are in excellent condition and the resort carries a fresh, well-maintained feel throughout. Given its intimate scale and strong reputation, booking in advance is advisable, particularly during Pai's peak season between November and February when the cool, dry weather draws significant visitor numbers to the region. Checking the resort's website directly at riverfrontreserve.com is recommended for current availability and rates.

Visitor Reviews
Highly recommend this newly built, romantic resort for anyone visiting Pai! Located right across the action-filled Pai walking street, you simply cross the bamboo bridge and enter a peaceful, charming and homey resort with clean rooms and excellent breakfast included. The staff is wonderful, especially Nicey at the reception, whose name is truly fitting! The staff is extremely attentive, remembering our breakfast order from the first day and even bringing me tea as soon I arrived to my table. Nicey even provided us with a small heater to help with the chilly Pai nights. Excellent service, location, and very memorable experience all around. Can’t wait to come back!
This is a great hotel based only a few minutes walk from walking street. We have been really impressed with this hotel and have ended up staying a few extra nights. It’s very rare that you stay somewhere and it’s better in real life than the images online. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and topped up with fresh fruit and drinks daily. The breakfast is fantastic and there also complimentary drinks and snacks provided throughout the day. Another benefit is you can use the pool of the sister hotel (Pai boutique village) which is also stunning. The hotel is so peaceful and relaxing, I can’t recommend it enough.
We received such a warm welcome at The Riverfront Reserve Pai 🫶🏼 The little chalets were absolutely adorable — we loved them! Being right in front of the river, in such a peaceful setting, was truly special. The staff was incredibly kind, with thoughtful little attentions that made our stay even better. You can cool off in the river, relax and enjoy the sun — it was such a nice experience. Dinner at Samba Grill was also delicious! A wonderful place to stay if you’re visiting Pai ✨🌿 Merci beaucoup 🙏🏻

Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
