Otium Boutique Room
Compare prices
Tucked above a restaurant on Pai's lively walking street, Otium Boutique Room offers a rare combination of central location and modern comfort in a town where accommodation tends to skew rustic. The rooms stand out for their cleanliness, contemporary design, and thoughtful touches including air conditioning, hot showers, and television — amenities that are not always guaranteed in Pai. The friendly owner, originally from Chiang Mai, brings a personal hospitality touch that guests frequently comment on, and breakfast has been included for some stays. The property sits on the second floor, which keeps it removed from street-level noise while still placing guests within easy walking distance of Pai's restaurants, cafes, and night market. Rooms are compact but well-appointed, with comfortable beds and a well-maintained shower room. Taller travellers should note that the low-ceiling layout may require some care when moving around. Otium Boutique Room operates daily from 08:00 to 22:00, so guests planning late arrivals should contact the property in advance to arrange check-in. As the hotel has no website listed, booking through a third-party platform or reaching out directly is recommended. Given Pai's popularity during the cool season from November to February, securing a room early is advisable during peak travel periods.

Visitor Reviews
If I could give 10 stars I would. This little piece of paradise in Pai is beautiful and I would highly recommend. The rooms are clean, modern and we'll equipped. Beds are so comfy!! Shower room was immaculate and the attention to detail with decor in the whole hotel means it more than earns it's title of boutique hotel. The Witching Well resteraunt is also equally stunning. Breakfast is top class and again the quality of the food and attention to detail in presentation is fantastic. If I come to Pai again (And I hope I do!!) this is the only place I would stay. Marco and the team are so friendly and kind, it's like staying with family. We had to leave early and we were still full from the incredible food the night before, and he even offered to make us a take away breakfast. So sweet. Thank you for making our stay in Pai extra special!!
I loved the Otium Boutique! The rooms were great, although for a tall guy like me, hitting your head on the roof kind of sucks. But appart from that, the beds were great and the room was beautiful. The owner was incredibly nice, We had a wonderful conversation with him. The breakfast was great as well, of course. And finally, the Hotel is perfectly located as it is near a great deal of restaurants which all have delicious meals. Had a great time there, hope it's as great as I remember it to be!
Absolutely amazing place really clean new and looks so cute set upstairs of the Witching well restaurant. The host is amazing and so attentive we got breakfast included and it was the best breakfast we got. Pancakes were lovely and we even got a free bowl of fruit to go with it. Thankyou again for the great hospitality cannot recommend this place enough. We have been travelling around SE Asia for over 2 months and this place is by far the best we have slept in.
