Visitor Reviews
A great hotel and in a very good location if you are visiting Ayutthaya. I drove from Bangkok and it was just a one and a half hour journey including a stop for fuel and the restroom. The hotel is situated next to the river and has great views. There is lots of parking, a nice terraced area next to the river and plenty of places to sit outside. Inside the hotel is nice and cool and relaxing. The hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained and comfortable. There are places to eat and the breakfast is very good. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are good quality. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional and I would recommend staying here if you are visiting Ayutthaya.
Great quiet, clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast is the best I've tried in Thailand.
Pros: Super comfortable bed. The most comfortable I’ve encountered in Thailand yet on this trip. Buffet: Not filled with my favorite foods but I realize that’s personal preference and there was always enough for me and my traveler companion to leave satisfied. A short rideshare away from most major attractions. Great view of the River too. Staff in hallways did a nice job of recognizing guests as they passed by. Cons: WiFi was very spotty halfway through my 2 night stay. 3 different species of insects in the room (but this is the tropics so I just pretended I was closer to nature than I actually was). Housekeeping: On the first morning, staff made a huge racket in the hallway beginning at 7 am, slamming doors and cackling amongst themselves. A bit too early from my POV. The location is somewhat hard to get to because of freeways, construction, and bridges. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s slightly less walkable than it seems on a map. If taking rideshare, it shouldn’t be an issue. When checking out, I handed in my key and waited and waited and waited … after few min I asked if everything was ok. Only then was I informed that Housekeeping needed to check on the room to finalize check out. And finally, as we were waiting for our rideshare to leave, I had an empty soda can. I asked where there was a trash can and the doorman pointed me down some steps. I descended and could not find it. I came back and asked him if I could just leave it with him. In a huff, he said he would show me. We descended the steps and then went into a room below the driveway and there, hidden behind tables that are not visible from the entrance, was the trash can. Not the best approach in terms of customer service, from my POV. Perhaps the last 2 issues were due to a language barrier but I feel like they could have been handled better, especially the doorman.
