Pai River Corner
Compare prices
Sitting alongside the Pai River on Chai Songkhram Road, this resort combines comfortable villa-style accommodation with a riverside setting that draws both guests and locals alike. The outdoor pool and garden provide a relaxed retreat, while the river-view restaurant has earned a reputation of its own — the tom yum kung comes particularly recommended, and the deck offers front-row views of the water, making it a natural gathering spot for celebrations and quiet evenings alike. Visitors who stayed for extended periods describe returning daily, citing the river ambiance and attentive staff as the main draws. The restaurant and common areas operate daily from 08:00 to 20:00, making this a daytime and early evening destination rather than a late-night venue. For special occasions or festival periods such as New Year, the riverside position offers excellent views of fireworks and sky lanterns — a notable advantage over more inland options in town. One practical note worth keeping in mind: the property sits on Chai Songkhram Road, which runs through a busy market area. Arriving by vehicle during peak hours can mean slow progress through crowded streets, so checking an alternate route before arrival — particularly on market days or festival evenings — is advisable. Pricing sits at the higher end relative to Pai's generally budget-friendly accommodation scene, but repeat visitors suggest the setting and service justify the cost.

Visitor Reviews
We absolutely love it here. Not the cheapest place in Pai but this was our staple. We stayed in Pai for 10 days and we went every day. Located right on the river the views are so good. The staff are very efficient.
A wonderful place to see in the New Year in Pai! Whilst the great unwashed were yamming vodka redbull and smoking spliffs, we 8 had a ringside seat by the river watching all the fireworks and lanterns. Great fun!
Great place for food and drinks with a view. I had the spicy prawn soup tom yum kung it was the best I've had in North Thailand. Highly recommend.
