A true gem in Pai – Pura Vida Resort My stay at the Pura Vida Resort in Pai, Northern Thailand, was absolutely wonderful. The entire property is designed with so much love, care, and attention to detail. You can feel the heart of Vanda, the owner, in every corner of the resort. She is an incredible person—warm, welcoming, and always ready with great tips about the best things to see and do in the area. From the very first moment, you feel almost like being at home, embraced as part of a family. The lush plant life, the beautiful little ponds, and the peaceful layout of the grounds make the place truly magical. One of the best aspects of the resort is its location: just outside of Pai, only a five-minute scooter or car ride into town, yet surrounded by complete tranquility. It’s perfectly nestled in nature—an absolute dream spot. I would return here again anytime. Thank you, Vanda, for your heartfelt hospitality and for creating such a beautiful place.
We had the most amazing stay at Pura Vida! Vanda the owner made us feel like family. She was so generous with looking after us and recommending the best places to visit in Pai. She even taught my partner how to ride a scooter! Her staff are also so lovely. The facilities and resort are beautiful decorated with handmade artworks and the garden js maliciously cared for. It was a romantic and relaxing retreat for us as a couple. A nice surprise was the amazing speed of the internet too! Much better than any other internet connection I experienced in Pai and I was able to get some work done online. Highly recommend visiting Rabbit restaurant down the road for a delicious local dinner. Thank you for taking care of us Vanda and friends! We will be back.
This is the place to stay in Pai! A Thai feel with all comforts you have at home. The breakfasts are wonderful and served by loving folks, abutting a pond filled with hungry fish :). Four or so kilometers outside of the hustle and bustle of town and yet next to two incredible restaurants- one of which is a walk away (the Rabbit) and the other (Two Sisters) is too but most probably won’t walk there (we did and loved it!). You can rent scooters and bikes- Vanda, owner, will give you insider’s tips on where to go in Pai. Vanda is warm, loving, helpful, generous and supportive- she and her two employees will make your stay extra special. Lucky us, we loved our stay.

Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
