Nolo Hub Pai
Compare prices
Nolo Hub Pai is a well-regarded hostel tucked slightly outside Pai's main strip, offering pod-style dorm beds and a notably social atmosphere without tipping into party-hostel territory. The property has built a reputation for fostering genuine connections between guests through a regular programme of daytime and evening events, making it a strong choice for solo travellers looking to meet people. The comfortable pod beds offer a degree of privacy that appeals even to those new to hostel stays.
What sets this hostel apart is the standard of care from its staff. Guests consistently highlight the team's willingness to go beyond the basics — arranging taxis after dark, coordinating last-minute transport, and even assisting friends and family of guests who are not staying on the property. A free pickup and drop-off service between the hostel and central Pai removes the usual friction of arriving in an unfamiliar area.
The hostel operates daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, so travellers arriving outside those hours should plan accordingly. While cafes and food delivery options are available nearby, the location sits away from the busiest part of town, which suits those who prefer a quieter base while still having easy access to Pai's hot springs, night market, and surrounding countryside. Booking in advance is advisable during the peak cool season between November and February, when Pai draws its largest crowds.

My first time sleeping in a hostel. I’m not a hostel person, I like my privacy but the vibe in the lobby was so nice and full of people, that I had to try it for a night. People walked me through the building, showed me the room before and shared with me that beds were comfortable. They were indeed comfortable , as I’ve sleepy like a baby 👶🏻 and cleaning lady had to wake me up, sleep was so good. Place energy felt good and the owner felt like good vibez too. Bathroom would need a bit more attention throughout the day as it had a particularly weird smell, but other than that, very nice place for whoever looks to sleep in a hostel. Location is also very close to the center and was easy to reach on foot. Loads of foreigners in that area so it was good to chat up with a few of them.
I was a friend of a guest and needed help getting to the bus station last minute. No one was around at my guest house to help and the apps were out of service. Wan, a literal front desk angel, came to the rescue and I was so beyond grateful. The level of community care Nolo Hub provides is truly incredible; this act of generosity alone speaks volumes on how they operate from the heart. 💛
Possibly the best hostel in Thailand! Social but wouldn’t classify it as a party hostel. They run events day and night so easy to make friends. Beds are super comfortable and pod style (one of the best nights sleep in a hostel). Volunteers and staff are so friendly too!
