Vana Belle, part of Marriott's Luxury Collection, sits on Noi Beach along Chaweng Beach Road on Koh Samui's northern coast, offering an upscale retreat for travellers seeking privacy, comfort, and refined beachfront living. The resort is home to suites and villas, many with private pools, set within a setting that guests consistently describe as stunning. Two on-site dining venues and a 24-hour gym round out the facilities, making it a strong choice for those who prefer to spend most of their stay within the resort itself.
The experience here is defined largely by the quality of its staff. Visitors frequently highlight the high staff-to-guest ratio, noting that assistance is always close at hand without feeling intrusive. The general manager has been singled out by guests for personal engagement, and the team has demonstrated genuine care even in difficult circumstances, such as when guests fell ill during their stay. Golf cart transfers around the property are available and reportedly run with minimal wait times, a small but appreciated detail that reflects the broader attentiveness of the operation.
Vana Belle is a popular choice for honeymooners and couples celebrating special occasions, and the resort also functions as a wedding and event venue. Given its premium positioning, early booking is advisable, particularly for villa categories with private pools. November through April represents the drier season on Koh Samui and is generally considered the most reliable time to visit for beach weather.

Reviews from Google
We stayed 4 nights at Vana Belle. The service level was impeccable. They must have a really high staff to guest ratio. We never had to look for help as there were always staff nearby to provide assistance. Any requests through the phone were always taken care of quickly. Buggy service was convenient and never had to wait for long. And the staff, they were the best and what made our stay so wonderful. Naomi (our butler) was very attentive and would go out of the way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We were greeted by only warm and friendly smiles from the moment we checked in, from front desk to housekeeping to the staff at the restaurants and the buggy drivers! While they were all super helpful and cheerful, they also made sure to provide space so it is not over bearing. Breakfast was semi buffet. Buffet itself did not have a huge variety but the quality of the à la carte was very good. Very nice view from the breakfast restaurant. It faces east, so can be warm already in the morning on hot days. We chose to sit in the shade or indoor. We had dinner at the Thai restaurant the night we arrived. Not very impressed by the food so we did not go back. We quite like the daily activities in the hotel. Tried Muay Thai, Thai boxing, body stretching etc. The pool was adequate which provided a small collection of floaties. The beach is very nice to look at/stay on but most of the time the sea is too wavy to swim in. Great number of sun-bed along the beach or by the pool so that’s a big plus. I would recommend the massage at the spa as well. Mai was absolutely amazing! Felt super relieved and refreshed afterwards.
We cannot say enough good things about our recent stay at the Vana Belle. First, the service was impeccable. I want to give a shoutout to Francois, the GM, who went out of his way to introduce himself at the hotel's lovely welcome reception, and especially Pum, our amazing concierge who thought of truly every detail from our room and beyond to make our honeymoon so special. Not only that, she recommended and made restaurant reservations for us around the island, organized ALL of our transport which was on time (for both restaurants and airport), and set us up for an amazing spa day with Smile and Maya. Every single person on the VB staff always made us feel welcome, and it did not go unnoticed. As far as our room, we received a very thoughtful complimentary upgrade for our honeymoon, and it was amazing!! The view, the plunge pool, and the little touches of champagne, cake, and nightly turndown snacks were so fun. Lastly, the location - this hotel is quiet, peaceful, and truly luxury. No other spot we dined at or walked by compared to Vana Belle or the beach it sits on, and the food every day was also phenomenal! We would HIGHLY recommend staying here - best on the island!
My husband and I spent 5 nights at Vana Belle for our honeymoon. Unfortunately, my husband was ill for our stay which meant we spent most of our time at the hotel. The staff were incredible, they arranged for a doctor to come see him immediately and were constantly checking on him throughout our stay. The staff were some of the best we’ve dealt with, always smiling offering to help in any way. The food was delicious, the beach was perfection and the rooms were beautiful. Our concierge Romi was extremely thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay, and I sincerely appreciated his help in assisting my husband. Would highly recommend this hotel.
