This is a stop, not an outing. If you're already circling the island on a scooter or in a car, pull in, walk down the steps and ramps toward the water, take your photos and move on. If you're weighing up a dedicated trip from your hotel at the other end of Samui, don't. Plenty of people come away feeling the coastline looks much the same from the road, and they've got a point.
What lifts it above a lay-by is the setting. There are small shrines dotted about the grounds, benches to sit on, and a little van selling drinks and snacks, including coconut ice cream. The sea view opens out wide and empty toward the horizon. Evenings are when it works best, when the light goes soft and the heat drops off. Mornings are fine too, just less interesting.

Nice place to view and snap picture.... Keep some memories for gorgeous island.
Ok view nothing special compared to just driving around.... not worth to visit from hotel just to see... OK if driving past for quick stop. Few parking. Small van staff friendly and lovely.
