Chaweng Noi Beach
The main reason to come here is space. This stretch stays quiet while Chaweng proper fills up, and the water is clear enough that people snorkel straight off the sand. There are rock formations at the end that make it more interesting to look at than a plain strip of shoreline. Most of the crowd staying nearby never leaves their resort pool, which works in your favour.
Two caveats, both from people who've been. Sea lice turn up in the water now and then and will end your swimming for a few days when they do. And the sand isn't the fine white powder some brochures promise, with reports of litter along parts of the shore. If your idea of a beach day is manicured perfection, you'll be disappointed. If you want somewhere calm within easy reach of restaurants and nightlife, it does the job well.

This was our favorite beach. Easy access right down the adjacent road next to the Fair House Resort, you can buy a day pass that includes a lounge chair, towel, umbrella & pool access for Baht$500.00/each, administered by the Fair House. Other beach front locations available as well up & down the beach. It was clean, quiet & not overly crowded. Affordable prices, but adds up fast during a long, hot ,humid day! Can snorkel right off the beach as well. Very picturesque with epic rock formations at either end of the beach. Unlike many beaches, the sand is mostly smooth & walkable. Just a great atmosphere. Very similar to Chaweng & Lamai.

05.01.2026 Don't expect fine white sand here. There's also quite some trash here laying around everywhere (but less than in Crystal Beach). Also fewer people, but still not very inviting.
