Anzhu Seamate Villa Samui
Anzhu Seamate Villa Samui is a boutique villa property nestled on a hillside in the Maret district of Koh Samui, offering guests a secluded retreat set between mountain scenery and sea views. The property is known for its spotlessly maintained rooms and villas, rustic-chic decor, and a strong emphasis on security, with guards on site around the clock. Beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable beds, and scenic morning surroundings give the property a distinctly peaceful, sanctuary-like atmosphere that sets it apart from busier beachfront options on the island. Guests consistently highlight the quality of the staff, who go well beyond standard check-in duties to assist with trip planning, bike rentals, and excursion bookings such as day trips to nearby Pig Island. The villas are spacious and thoughtfully presented, with personal touches that make arrivals feel genuinely welcomed. The setting rewards those who value quiet and natural beauty over immediate beach access. One practical consideration worth noting is that the hilltop location means a car or scooter is essentially necessary for getting around, as the property sits some distance from shops, restaurants, and the beach. Travellers who prefer walkable convenience may want to factor this in, but those happy to drive will find the tradeoff well worthwhile. Checking the property website directly for availability and current rates is recommended, as the villa-style accommodation suits couples, families, and small groups alike.

Review: A Seven-Day Sanctuary Between the Mountains and the Sea My seven-day stay at Anzhu Villa was nothing short of transformative. If you are someone who craves the dramatic beauty of a mountainside perch paired with the serenity of an endless ocean horizon, this is the ultimate destination. Architectural Brilliance & Privacy The design of the villas is incredibly thoughtful. Each villa is a standalone masterpiece, ensuring total privacy. I particularly loved the spatial layout: • Separation of Space: The living area and the master bedroom are independent structures. This physical separation creates a wonderful flow and makes the villa feel like a private estate rather than just a "room." • Nature Integrated: The architecture feels like it’s breathing with the landscape. With the rugged mountain at your back and the vast sea stretching out in front, you feel completely immersed in the elements while remaining in total luxury. The "Anzhu" Experience • Ultimate Butler Service: The service here is "extreme" in the best way possible. The butler team is intuitive, anticipating needs before you even voice them. It’s a level of personalized care that makes you feel like the only guest on the property. • The "No-Exit" Pull: There is a rare magnetic quality to this place. Usually, I enjoy exploring the surrounding area, but at Anzhu, the views and the comfort were so peak that I genuinely didn't want to leave the villa. Watching the light change over the ocean from the living room became my favorite daily activity.
A place where everyone can completely relax. The only downside is that being halfway up the hill, you definitely need a car to get around. The moment I opened the door to check in, I was stunned by the view: a beautiful pool overlooking the sea of Koh Samui. Every day there was a different breakfast (both American and Thai), all absolutely delicious. We had a private butler—Kiki the manager, Peng, and my personal butler Bee—all incredibly friendly. The first thing I did every morning was jump straight into the pool, and every afternoon I came back to jump in again with the kids! The day before we left, we even ordered room service—it was so hard to leave this place. I hope I can come back once every year. Thank you all for giving our family such unforgettable memories. By the way, the mosquitoes seemed to have a personal favorite—they really loved my “plump” self! 😆
Best stay of my whole trip. The villas / rooms are spacious, clean, with a rustic feel to it. The bedroom was beautifully decorated when I arrived and the beds are super comfy! In the mornings and evenings the infinity pool in my villa was perfect for cooling off and relaxing in the sun with a stunning view. On top of that the staff are lovely and extremely attentive. The hotel is up a steep hill but there’s a buggy that can transport you up and down at any time. They also made incredible breakfasts in the morning and I was never left hungry. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for luxury serenity. I came alone this time so that’s what I got but would love to come back with friends (it has a conversation pit which would’ve been so fun to use with friends) Thank you for a great stay!
