Luang Chumni Village

4.6(278 reviews)

Luang Chumni Village is a characterful bed and breakfast set within a traditional Thai wooden house in the heart of Ayutthaya's historic centre. The property offers six rooms featuring wood-panelled interiors and balconies, set among well-kept gardens — with a tree growing through the centre of the building itself. A terrace and a small library add to the relaxed, homely atmosphere that sets it apart from standard hotel accommodation.

The guesthouse is ideally positioned for exploring Ayutthaya's famous temple ruins, with Wat Mahathat reachable in around ten minutes on foot and the night market just a five-minute walk away. Visitors frequently highlight the helpfulness of the staff and the quality of the breakfast. Hiring bicycles directly from the property is a popular way to cover more ground and explore the surrounding ruins at a comfortable pace.

Guests should be aware that rooms facing Rojana Road may experience some traffic noise, so those who are light sleepers may want to request a quieter room when booking. As a small property with only six rooms, availability can be limited during peak travel periods, particularly around Thai national holidays and the cooler November to February season when Ayutthaya draws the most visitors. Booking in advance is advisable.

Reviews from Google

Quaint accommodation within walking distance of all major points of interest. Five minutes walk away from the night market with plenty of food choices. Rooms are spacious and clean and service is attentive.

Very nice teck house, staff is super helpful and breakfast delicious. It's located only 10 minutes away from wat mahatmat. Strongly recommended

Very nice room and in general a nice hotel. Very good location for visiting the Wats and night market. Depending on what room you get it can be noisy bc of traffic (there’s a big road in front of the hotel). We’ve been there on a weekend so it sadly was super noisy bc of The Ayutthaya Nava festival (running weekends (Fri-Sun) from November 2025 to February 1, 2026) - keep that in mind if you like a good night of sleep bc it finishes after midnight. Staff were really nice and attentive.
