Visitor Reviews
The hotel is really pretty from the outside at night with the lighting. Aside from the birds chirping in the morning, and the occasional dogs barking, and some of the vehicles outside, it's super quiet. The service is excellent. When we first arrived, they grabbed our luggage right away to bring to our room. Chang, our butler, was really helpful and patient. We used their half day private driver and Tony was awesome. He acted like a tour guide by filling us in on things around the city. He even helped us when we were ordering food to go at the end of the trip - it was a small gesture but it went a long way since the restaurant was a little out of the way, added more time to the itinerary, etc. Enjoyed the beverages and snacks available in their lobby area. The rooms were a good size. The materials of the room were top notch. The cabinets were soft closing which is a nice touch. There is a fridge and freezer in case you also want to store anything. The lighting in the room created a cozy and intimate environment, so if you're looking for something bright and well lit, you'll need to reset expectations. Unfortunately, our room had mosquitoes that ate us up. Not sure how they entered our room since it was tucked far in the corner of the hotel and we never opened any windows or doors that would let them inside. The biggest downside was the location. Albeit it being within the old city, it was far from all of the action. Can Taxi/Grab anywhere, but it would have been nice to be more centrally located within the Old City. They claim to have a gym but calling it that is very misleading! Never used the pool but the waters looked very clear and clean. Nonetheless, it is a beautiful property and I really want this business to do well and succeed.
We had a magical time in the honeymoon suite here! The room was very comfortable. The pool is gorgeous! The staff was amazing. The location is very walkable. We booked a driver for the day to take us up to Sticky falls and another waterfall. The driver Tony was wonderfully helpful. He added in a temple on the way that we had time for, he found us an atm and a 7-11 when needed, he packed a cooler full of drinks for us for all day, and he recommended and booked us a table at the coolest farm to table restaurant on the way. You'll hear roosters early and dogs late but I sleep with ear plugs and wake up before the roosters anyways. Still thinking about the BBQ pork buns at breakfast. Great coffee too. I don't often repeat locations but I would come back!
We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It has a beautiful outdoor area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the great weather. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, and the amenities felt higher-end than expected. We also appreciated the complimentary snacks available at the front desk. The service was excellent—everyone was welcoming, friendly, and consistently helpful. The location was another highlight: close enough and within walking distance of most temples, yet just far enough from the main area to avoid noise and maintain a peaceful, tranquil atmosphere. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend this hotel.
