Tucked along Samlarn Road in Chiang Mai's historic Old Town, Bloomin' Moon operates as both a hostel and a café, offering guests and walk-in visitors a welcoming space that goes well beyond typical budget accommodation. The attached coffee shop draws praise for its extensive matcha and coffee menu, friendly staff, and beautifully presented food, while overnight guests benefit from a complimentary breakfast that regularly earns its own share of compliments. Visitors can expect a warm, relaxed atmosphere where staff greet guests by name and hospitality feels genuinely personal. The café menu spans fresh noodle dishes, waffles, and a variety of hot and cold drinks, making it a draw for families, solo travellers, and couples alike. The Old Town location places guests within easy walking distance of Chiang Mai's major temples, the Sunday Walking Street Market, and a strong local street food scene. The hostel operates daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, so travellers with late arrivals should plan accordingly and confirm arrangements in advance. Peak season runs from November to February, when Chiang Mai attracts the highest number of visitors and availability at well-regarded budget properties fills quickly. Booking ahead during this period is strongly advisable. The Facebook page serves as the primary contact and booking channel in the absence of a dedicated website.

Visitor Reviews
Came here with my toddler and had such a delicious lunch! Really tasty fresh noodle dish with crispy chicken and my little one enjoyed waffles and cream. All so beautifully presented and a really lovely atmosphere. Nice, clean fresh and lovely attentive service. A great selection of desserts and drinks. A must visit :) highly recommend!
Review for the coffee shop attached: Cutest little coffee shop with an incredible variety of hot/cold matcha/coffee options. Staff was the absolute friendliest with nothing but smiles as they helped us decide what to order. Went for the fresh coconut iced americano and the moon drop. Both were spectacular. The moon drop is a super unique blend of textures, temperatures, and flavors! Definitely will stop back by.
I paid more by accident, and the kind waitress gave me my money back — I really appreciate the honesty! Thank you so much! By the way, the coffee was delicious. The lunch portion was generous, and the quality of the meat was very good. They offer free water refills and always ask if we are okay, so you can see they truly care about their customers.🥰
