To all the staff especially Jedi , the comfortable accommodation, delicious breakfast buffet and impeccable housekeeping services exceeded our expectations. We were particularly impressed with how smoothly our group tours were organized by Jedi and Anita. The team members ESPECIALLY JEDI was so friendly and so helpful. We give the hotel a 5 star rating and Jedi a 5 star rating. He went above and beyond for us. We were visiting from California to celebrate my husband’s 50 birthday. Once again, Jedi thank you for providing such a delightful stay. Jedi, you have a beautiful soul about you, wishing you all the best. Dan and Donna carnegie
Perfect location in the middle of old town, could not be better. Nicely heated pool as well. The room we got was charming with a nice balcony. The personnel was very kind, special note to Monika who was very professionell and made things happen at the hotel. Her after-noon desserts by the pool were very delicious. I can warmly recommend Thai Akara Lanna Boutique hotel.
Many thanks to the Thai Akara team for a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful and the staff genuinely lovely. A special shout-out to Monika and her team for the excellent breakfast — great variety and the perfect start to each day. I deducted one star because smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises, and the designated smoking area outside the property isn’t very inviting. We booked a room with a balcony because I’m a smoker, but only learned about the strict policy upon arrival (maybe I should've read the descriptions more carefully). We also had some noisy, inebriated neighbors one night — not the hotel’s fault, but worth mentioning. Additionally, there was a brief blackout during our stay, which could be an issue for guests needing, for example, medication that must be kept cool. Since it happened only once, it didn’t affect my rating. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a central, truly charming place to stay in Chiang Mai with great staff.
