Touring Center
Based on the first floor of a building along Rachadamnoen Road in the Si Phum area of Chiang Mai, Touring Center is a tour and travel agency specialising in guided excursions throughout Northern Thailand. The agency organises a range of experiences, from single-day outings to destinations such as Doi Suthep and Chiang Rai to multi-day trips covering the Golden Triangle and beyond. Itineraries have included stops at hot springs, mountain pagodas, national parks, and iconic landmarks such as the White Temple in Chiang Rai, giving visitors a well-rounded picture of the north. Visitor Reviews
Hello travelers, I recommend the travel agency because they made us a great trip to Lampang to the incredible pagodas in the mountains, after lunch in Chae Son National Park we immersed ourselves in a hot bath and rested our feet from the mountains. It was very interesting to watch people boil eggs brought for a picnic in that hot water. On the way to Chiang Mai, we also visited the world-famous cafes and roasteries in the Lampang mountains where they made us an incredible espresso from the local Arabica coffee. The taste and foam of the espresso from freshly roasted coffee were incredible. The guide and guide with perfect English took care of us on a professional level and explained everything we could remember. It was at a very high level. Thank you and we appreciate the care.
We did a 2 day journey from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai with golden triangle etc. We were absolutely super happy ! The tour was super organized and our guide Tui was totally great! We are for the 5th time in Thailand and North Thailand and through him we have learned so many new things and exchanged about the culture. We explored great locations during this time, not only temples but also the opium museum at the golden triangle but also a tea plantation. It have been 2 super great days, many thanks to Tui, the best tour guide ever :-) Kop Khun Krup!
We had a whole day trip to Chaing Rai, we stopped at the how springs we were a small group with a good driver & guide with a wicked sense of humour which appealed to the Brits. The white Wat was unbelievable. Could have spent more time here. We did a Mekong boat tour. And visited an ancient Wat. The opium museum and a fabulous lunch and a good stop for coffee on the way back. We were ahead of all the large tour buses. I would highly recommend this company.

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
