Pai Authentic Travel
Based on Chai Songkram Road in the heart of Pai, this local travel agency specialises in connecting visitors with some of the region's most popular activities, including the signature tipsy tubing experience on the Pai River, guided day tours to nearby attractions, and onward transport bookings. The agency is run by locals, giving it a community-focused feel that budget-conscious travellers tend to appreciate. The one-day group tour, priced at around THB 400 per person, visits up to nine sights around Pai, including the Sai Ngam natural hot springs. Reviewers highlight the organised itinerary, safe driving, and welcoming attitude of the guides. The tubing experience, in particular, draws repeat visitors, with some returning multiple times during a single trip. It is a sociable activity well suited to solo travellers looking to meet others on the road. A good practical note: if booking transport through the agency, confirm upfront whether there are additional charges for luggage, as at least one traveller has reported an unexpected fee on departure day. The agency is open every day from 08:30 to 22:00, making it easy to drop in and arrange activities on short notice. Check the website at paitipsytubing.com for current offerings before visiting.

Visitor Reviews
We had an excellent day out in early Nov with Pai Authentic Travel on their 1-day tour to 9 local sights around Pai, including the Sai Ngam natural hot springs in the north. The tour was THB400 pp, plus we paid an extra THB430 total for entry tickets (hot springs B300, waterfall B100 (both were together on 1 ticket for B400) & bamboo bridge B30). They picked us up in a songthaew from our hotel at about 10am & dropped us back at 6.30pm after watching the picturesque sunset at Pai Canyon. Our driver was safe, polite & helpful, & we used Google translate to communicate, which was fine. Simple Thai lunch with water was included at a little local restaurant on route, and smoothies/coffees/water could be bought at Coffee Stop (a bit too busy there, so we drove on) or at Bamboo Bridge (the latter was better, less of a queue & a lovely open setting in the rice fields). Overall it was a great way to see the local highlights & meet some lovely fellow travellers (aged 25-60). We booked the tour in their friendly office on walking street just the night before. We highly recommend this tour.
I did tipsy tubing in Pai and it was an incredible experience. Met lots of friendly travellers. The locals were very welcoming. Helping out a local business. Very affordable we paid equivalent of £5 on the main high street. This includes: transport from your hostel, float for the river, foam party, fire display, DJ and rave. We also paid extra for some drinks, balloons and body paint. The body paint was full moon party vibes. I would highly recommend.
We booked full day tour which was very organized and many attractions. The driver was very pleasant and drove safely. Only recommendation is to extend the time in the hot springs maybe instead of the Chinese village or the white Buddha

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
