Emerald Gym

Emerald Gym is Krabi's established training camp, set between Krabi Town and Ao Nang with the province's limestone karsts as a backdrop. It runs the full modern camp program — Muay Thai as the core, with MMA, grappling and conditioning classes alongside — under Thai trainers and visiting international coaches, and it welcomes the whole spectrum from first-class beginners to amateur fighters preparing for local cards. For travelers, its pitch is the setting. Nowhere else in Thailand do you finish a morning session this close to Railay's beaches, Ao Nang's restaurants and the island boats.

The schedule keeps the traditional shape — morning and late-afternoon sessions, six days a week — so the middle of the day is free for exactly what people come to Krabi for, whether that's a longtail to Railay, a swim at Ao Nang, or nothing at all in a hammock. Simple accommodation at and around the gym supports longer stays, and weekly or monthly packages are the norm for anyone training seriously.
