Anana Ecological Resort Krabi
Compare prices
Set slightly apart from the busier stretches of Ao Nang, this ecological resort strikes a balance between environmental principles and genuine resort comfort. Accommodation ranges from spacious Thai Studios to adults-only suites with private pools, giving couples and solo travellers a peaceful alternative to the main tourist strip without sacrificing convenience. The on-site spa, well-regarded restaurant, and a breakfast spread praised for its variety and quality round out the core amenities.
The resort's atmosphere is notably calm and visually appealing, with guests consistently highlighting the warmth of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the well-kept grounds. An hourly shuttle service connects the property to Ao Nang's beaches, restaurants, shops, and boat piers, making the location practical despite its quieter setting. The dedicated wellness offering through the spa makes it a particularly solid choice for those wanting treatments woven into their stay rather than seeking them elsewhere.
On the practical side, the resort sits roughly 25 kilometres from Krabi International Airport and is accessible by road from Krabi Town. November through February brings lower humidity and reduced rainfall, making it the most comfortable window for enjoying outdoor spaces and the pool. Pricing can shift considerably between seasons, and some guests note the experience represents stronger value at mid-range nightly rates, so it is worth comparing prices carefully before booking and considering whether peak-season pricing aligns with what the property offers.

Reviews from Google
This was such an amazing hotel in every way, there is a wonderful spa on site as well as a great restaurant and breakfast in the morning. The rooms are clean, comfy and the visual aesthetic is appealing. What makes this hotel 5 stars is the service and attitudes of the staff members. They are all so lovely and welcoming but I have to mention Hassan in particular, who genuinely went above and beyond with making sure we had what we needed and giving us the biggest smile every time we spoke to him. His attitude is incredible! We would love to come back.
Absolutely loved our stay here. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. It was really nice being a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang, but the hourly shuttle is super convenient getting to and from. The breakfast is also delicious! Was one of my favorites from all the hotels we stayed while in Thailand. Our room was stunning, I loved the swim up pool. Very spacious in the room, and a comfortable bed. Would absolutely stay here again when I come back!
Great hotel - but don’t overpay to stay here - it’s lacking in certain areas. I certainly wouldnt pay more than £200 ($270) a night to stay here. It’s a beautiful property - but we were caught out as not all rooms have access to the second swimming pool (which is a pool you could actually swim in, as opposed to just lounging around). Breakfast was good enough - but certainly not even close to 5* hotels / resorts in India / Malaysia. Location near the buzz of Krabi was ace (although it would have been nice to have more areas to go for a walk around the hotel). Staff were lovely. However service in the rooftop bar / restaurant was slow (and food choices not that inspiring). So a lovely place to stay - but with caveats.
