Tee restaurant in the jungle and bungalow
Tucked into the jungle near Ao Nang, this family-run Thai restaurant has earned a loyal following among visitors who return multiple times during a single trip. The combination of consistently fresh cooking, warm service, and a natural jungle backdrop sets it apart from the beachfront dining options that dominate the Krabi tourist strip. The setting feels genuinely removed from the bustle, yet it remains accessible enough to reach from nearby accommodation. The menu leans into classic Thai cooking with standout dishes that include grilled sea bream, gravy seafood soup, and fresh mango. Reviewers consistently highlight the quality of the fish, with the grilled options praised for their tender, delicate flesh. The drinks menu also draws attention, with the mango daiquiri noted for its presentation and flavour. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is described as cozy and immersive, with the jungle surroundings adding a distinctive character that casual restaurants rarely offer. The on-site bungalows mean visitors can also stay overnight and absorb the tranquil setting at length. Good to know: The restaurant is open daily from around 7:00 in the morning until 9:00 in the evening, making it suitable for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The jungle location means bringing insect repellent is a sensible precaution, particularly for evening visits. Given its reputation, arriving early during peak season is advisable to secure a table.

Visitor Reviews
The food was outstanding. If you’re craving a fish dish, I especially recommend the grilled fish here. It’s a type of sea bream, and the flesh is incredibly tender and melts in your mouth. The crispy exterior is perfectly done, and the sauce is excellent as well. Needless to say, the other dishes we ordered were just as good. The atmosphere feels like being in the middle of a jungle. It’s a bit off the main path, which means it’s nicely isolated from outside noise. If you enjoy quiet, peaceful places, this spot is highly recommended. The owner is also very kind and welcoming, and the food is served at a comfortable pace.
Food: amazing. Heighlight of the trip regarding food. Best meal we had do far. Would recommend to my best friends, my family and every stranger who would value my opinion 😊 ooou and best mango 🥭 and passion fruit smoothly as well 😊 Service: very kind and we ask for recommendation really what to eats. We ordered everything they suggested. Atmosphere: when we came to the entrance we did not know if we are at the right place..doesn’t look much in the dark from front. But when you enter the atmosphere changes to jungle garden vibe with wooden schacks. Ferry nice snd beautiful.
Came here with my wife for dinner and it was truly a hidden gem. We ventured here through the darkness from our hotel and it was worth it. I ordered the mango daquiri - it was well presented and tasty- my wife had the soda water. For food we ordered the mango and papaya crunchy salad, pad thai and green thai curry with rice. Portions were huge and food simply excellent. Service was speedy and thoughtful. It was truly atmospheric and we will definitely be returning. Prices reasonable.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
