Reggae Bar Hua Hin
Reggae Bar Hua Hin earns its reputation as a genuine hangout rather than a tourist trap, built around a warm, community-driven atmosphere that keeps visitors coming back night after night. The bar is run by a close-knit team — regulars frequently mention owners Parb and Ish by name — and that personal touch shapes the entire experience. Vintage rasta decor, Bob Marley music, and an easygoing crowd give the place a distinctly bohemian character that stands apart from Hua Hin's more polished beachside venues. Inside, visitors will find cold Chang beers at budget-friendly prices, a pool table, a hammock, and a relaxed environment that actively encourages conversation and lingering. The bar hosts live music on selected nights, though not every evening, so those hoping to catch a band should check ahead or ask on arrival. Smoking is welcome, and the overall vibe is unpretentious and inclusive — equally comfortable for solo travellers looking to meet people and for groups winding down after a day on the beach. Good to know: Arriving on a quieter night without a band still delivers a solid experience, with recorded reggae keeping the atmosphere alive. The bar draws a loyal crowd of both expats and travellers, so it tends to feel social at most hours. Casual clothing is entirely appropriate, and the venue is reachable by tuk-tuk from most Hua Hin accommodation.

Visitor Reviews
The coolest and best bar ever in the whole of Hua Hin! Great boss and brother who manage the bar. The place is a very vintage rasta feel, the vibes they give, the music, the set ups, even the boss even play some great tunes live even there wasn't even much people the day I went as it was a Monday. I definitely will recommend and for sure will come back and see them again when I set foot on Hua Hin. Sadly it was my last night when I ride by and discover the place. Definitely a GEM of Hua Hin. Rare to see genuine reggae music bars in the whole of Thailand, this is my Top so far! Great hospitality, great service and definitely great music and ambience. If there is a 100 stars to review, I will fill all in! Thank you so much! Seee you guys again soon! One love!
My local drinking spot during my time in Hua Hin and a wonderful place to chill and make friends. Whatever my plans were of an evening, I would usually end the night at Reggae Bar with one of Ish's excellent mojito's and listen to Parb play Bob Marley and Thai fisherman's songs. Ish, the owner is a wonderful, thoughtful soul and great to talk to. Parb is also a very relaxed hang and I greatly enjoyed our discussions about music and Buddhism. I miss them, think of them often and hope to see them again one day. Great place, great people. Sabai sabai 🙏
Parb. ya da best. Sabbia Sabbia! If visiting Hauhin be sure to visit the reggae bar and meet Parb and Ish... The place is filled with amazing Energy. Super talented musician. And also makes the best Thai Tea.
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
