Duotone Kiteboarding Club - Kiteschool Thailand
Situated on Petchakasem Road in Hua Hin, this Duotone-affiliated kiteboarding school serves as a hub for kiteboarders and kitefoilers of all experience levels. Led by owner Dzevad and a team of highly experienced, English-speaking instructors, the school offers structured lessons, equipment rental, and gear storage in a professional setup that has earned consistently strong feedback from visiting students. Beginners can expect a thorough progression through kite control, water skills, and safety fundamentals, with instructors praised for their patience and ability to get students riding quickly. More experienced riders use the facility for kitefoiling and independent sessions, taking advantage of the rental and storage services alongside the school's structured programmes. The atmosphere is described by visitors as welcoming and professionally run, with responsive communication from the team before arrival.

Christmas 2025... What a wonderful place to be. 🤙🏄🏄 Perfect for Kitefoiling. I hat 25 Kitedays in December. Perfect. Check the Duotone Kite School for Kiteschool, rent or storage. Very friendly and helpful. Nice Guys ad a wonderful Housekeeping Girl 🥰🥰🤘🏼😍😍Have fun. Sawastikaaap 🔥🔥
We are a young couple who decided to learn Kitesurfing with no previous experience. Before arriving we send a mail to ask for open slots. The response time was very fast and the owner Dzevad, called Joe also spoke German. Joe is a great guy who can recommend a lot of activities and restaurants in the area. We decided to take the offer with instructor lessons and the apartment above the Kite Shop. The package for 2 persons is cheaper because you only have to pay for the accommodation once. You can also wire the money directly so you don‘t have to withdraw a lot of money. The room was basic and clean. Definitely worth the price. When requested the room is made up for you again which we did in a 3 day interval. Our Kitesurfing instructors were Dima and Bang. Both did an excellent job. Dima explained a lot of theory and answered all questions. He was also patient in the beginning when the progress was a bit slower. Bang is a brilliant Kitesurfer himself but can also teach beginners how to get started. The equipment provided was really good! Overall every person we met was very kind to us. Our recommendation for staring to kite is to always keep going even when things aren’t going smoothly in beginning. We recommend this Kite School 100% and hope to come back again in the future!
My experience wasn’t good. I took only half of the lessons and got a refund for the rest. Here, they charge by the hour, but they conducted the lesson even when there was no wind. On the first day, I just set up the equipment and didn’t even get to ride the board, yet I was charged 2,000 baht. We also wasted a lot of time because they inflated the kite manually instead of using a machine. If there’s no wind, they shouldn’t run the lesson at all — but since we didn’t know that, we just ended up wasting money. Later, I visited another shop just in case, and they didn’t run lessons because the wind was too weak. They seemed much more honest, so I switched to that kite school instead.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Popular Activities Online
Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
