Bon Kai Aquarium หัวหินปลาสวยงาม
Bon Kai Aquarium is a specialist fish and aquarium supply shop located along the western railway road in Hua Hin, serving both local residents and visiting hobbyists. Despite its listing as a tourist attraction, the business functions primarily as a retail store, offering a wide selection of live fish — including koi, butterfly koi, goldfish, betta, and carp — alongside tanks, filters, gravel, and pond equipment. It has built a loyal following among expats and long-term visitors who keep home ponds or aquariums in the area. The shop is run by a friendly family team known for their welcoming manner and willingness to give practical advice on fish care, pond setup, and filtration. Prices are consistently praised as affordable, and the stock is considered broad enough to meet most freshwater fishkeeping needs. For travellers renting accommodation with an existing pond or fish tank, or for those interested in bringing a little aquatic life to a longer stay, this shop offers genuine value and knowledgeable assistance. Good to know: Bon Kai Aquarium is best suited to travellers on extended stays in Hua Hin rather than short-break visitors. Current opening hours and pricing are not listed online, so it is advisable to ask at your accommodation or check locally before making the trip. The address on the western railway road is straightforward to find, and the shop is easily combined with other errands or exploration in that part of town.

Visitor Reviews
One of the hobbies so to speak I have taken up living in Hua Hin is creating a pond. Cannot say enough about the GREAT customer service as well knowledgeable staff. They have helped with fish as well as algae eaters like catfish. Would recommend this shop for any level of fish fancier too. I have been using them for over a year for all our aquatic needs.
This place has plenty of fish supplies, tanks, filters, variety of fish, they are helpful with any question and good service and good price. I purchased a pretty koi beta fish, gravel, tank, filter and decoration here. I recommend shopping here for fish supplies in Hua Hin. Best I have found.
I was looking for some goldfish, small koi or carp for our condo fishpond. staff was very helpful and they had a wide selection of fish. Prices were very affordable. I was able to get 12 fish for 260 Baht

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
