All Chiang Mai Tours
Based on Thanon Kotchasarn in the heart of Chiang Mai, All Chiang Mai Tours is a travel agency specialising in organised day tours and outdoor activities across northern Thailand. Popular offerings include guided trips to Doi Inthanon National Park — including the demanding Kew Mae Pan trail — as well as whitewater rafting and ATV tours, making it a practical one-stop option for travellers looking to explore the region's natural landscapes with local expertise. Visitors consistently highlight the quality of the guides, describing them as knowledgeable, calm, and attentive throughout the day. The agency caters well to different group types, including families with young children, and has a reputation for thoughtful, personalised service — one family noted that staff went as far as preparing a birthday cake for their child during a rafting trip. Tours are described as well-paced and informative, with guides explaining the history and significance of each location along the way. The agency is open seven days a week from 08:00 to 19:00, making it easy to plan and book regardless of arrival day. Travellers intending to do longer day trips, particularly to Doi Inthanon National Park, should book in advance to secure a guide and confirm group sizes. Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate layers are advisable for highland and trail-based tours, as conditions at higher elevations can differ significantly from the city.

Visitor Reviews
We really enjoyed our ATV Tour!! Service was great and the Guide was awesome! Can only recommend it!
Great experience with All Chiang Mai Tours!!! I travelled with my family, 2 adults and a eight-year-old kid. Top organized everything for us and he was really very kind. We took 2 tours with All Chiang Mai Tours. First, Top organized a private tour for us on our arrival day so that we had everything arranged that day and we didn't waste time. Then, we took a group tour to Chiang Rai including Karen Village and the Golden Triangle. Everything went very well. Apart from that Top gave us a very good price. Thank you very much!!! We hope to go back to Chiang Mai in the near future and we will contact you again for sure!!!
Super satisfied of the tour taken with them. We went on the tour Doi Inthanon National Park. The guide was soooo nice, calm, polite m, explaining us everything and showing us all the places. It was a real enjoyment, from seeing the national park, the waterfalls, the hime, the village everything was really amazing and we also learned a lot from the tour guide and also from the guide from the local village. We had the best time, such a wonderful and fulfilling day spend!! Highly recommend it!!

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
