All Chiang Mai Tours
Based on Thanon Kotchasarn in the heart of Chiang Mai, All Chiang Mai Tours is a travel agency specialising in organised day tours and outdoor activities across northern Thailand. Popular offerings include guided trips to Doi Inthanon National Park — including the demanding Kew Mae Pan trail — as well as whitewater rafting and ATV tours, making it a practical one-stop option for travellers looking to explore the region's natural landscapes with local expertise.
Visitors consistently highlight the quality of the guides, describing them as knowledgeable, calm, and attentive throughout the day. The agency caters well to different group types, including families with young children, and has a reputation for thoughtful, personalised service — one family noted that staff went as far as preparing a birthday cake for their child during a rafting trip. Tours are described as well-paced and informative, with guides explaining the history and significance of each location along the way.
The agency is open seven days a week from 08:00 to 19:00, making it easy to plan and book regardless of arrival day. Travellers intending to do longer day trips, particularly to Doi Inthanon National Park, should book in advance to secure a guide and confirm group sizes. Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate layers are advisable for highland and trail-based tours, as conditions at higher elevations can differ significantly from the city.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Popular Activities Online
Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
