Rut Thai Massage
Tucked along Thanon Pattayasaisong in Muang Pattaya, this no-frills massage shop has earned a loyal following among both tourists and locals for delivering authentic, effective Thai massage at honest prices. Reviewers consistently highlight the therapists' strength and skill, with multiple visitors reporting real relief from muscle pain and fatigue — particularly after long days of sightseeing or carrying heavy bags. The focus here is firmly on the quality of the treatment rather than luxury surroundings, making it a genuine alternative to the polished, tourist-facing spas that dominate much of Pattaya. The atmosphere is straightforward and comfortable, with staff described by visitors as friendly and professional. Treatments are notably firm and thorough, drawing on traditional Thai massage technique — well-suited to those seeking therapeutic results rather than a purely gentle, relaxation-focused experience. Prices are considered very reasonable, including by visitors who have paid considerably more elsewhere for lesser results. Good to know: a neighbouring bar can occasionally introduce background noise, so those sensitive to atmosphere may want to factor this in. Specific opening hours are not listed online, so it is worth calling ahead or dropping in to confirm availability before building it into your plans. The location is convenient for combining a visit with nearby dining or other errands in the central Pattaya area.

Visitor Reviews
I seldom leave a review but I have to this time because this humble massage place is really amazing! I probably won’t come to Pattaya often but I benefited from Google review so I need to make one for one that’s really good. Her name is May and I did one hour head neck shoulder. After knowing I suffer from neck pain, May specially massaged my neck and shoulder and that’s really distressing! The ambience is humble and now it’s not their peak hours so the store was really empty and a bit hard finding the entrance. But I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it! Huge value for money!
I was suffering from shoulder pain & back pain due to carrying a 10 kg backpack all day. I went for the head shoulder and neck package here, and the lady was very professional and strong, she took me over the clouds. Next day I woke up fully energised and no pain left. Highly recommended. Note: this is just a normal massage, not h ending.
I came to use the service with my girlfriend. The masseuse was very good. The price is good. I've been to massages in Bangkok where it was expensive and the massage was very gentle and not good. But here, the massage is good and the hands are heavy, making me feel comfortable.👍

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
