NARA MASSAGE & SPA PHUKET (Chalong, Patak Rd.)
Situated on Patak Road in the quieter Chalong district of southern Phuket, this well-regarded spa and massage centre offers a broad range of wellness treatments, from traditional Thai massage and aroma massage to facials and combination packages such as the signature "Superior 2: A Peaceful Balance" treatment. The setting strikes a balance between professional quality and a calm, unhurried atmosphere — a combination that visitors frequently single out alongside the cleanliness of the facility and the attentiveness of the therapists. Families, couples, and solo travellers have all found it a comfortable fit, with staff known for consulting guests on pressure preferences and any areas requiring special care before a session begins. Treatments are priced accessibly relative to the quality on offer, making it a practical choice for travellers who want a genuine spa experience without the premium rates typically associated with beachfront or resort-based venues. The nail salon and beauty services on-site add further options for those looking to extend their visit beyond massage alone. A complimentary tea served after treatments is a small but appreciated finishing touch that several visitors have noted. The centre opens daily at 10:00 AM and closes at 10:30 PM, giving flexibility for both daytime and evening appointments throughout the week. Booking in advance is advisable during peak season, which runs roughly from November through February, when demand across Phuket's wellness venues tends to increase. The Chalong location also makes it a convenient stop for travellers exploring the southern part of the island or visiting nearby attractions such as Chalong Temple.

Visitor Reviews
Nara Massage is hands down the best Thai massage place in Phuket! The quality of therapy here is amazing — you can easily adjust the massage pressure to your liking, and the therapists are incredibly polite, gentle, and professional. At just 350 THB (as of 2026), it’s unbeatable in terms of value for money. The location couldn’t be more convenient — surrounded by plenty of residential complexes, a big shopping mall, and great infrastructure all around. Parking is also super easy, which is a big plus. Overall, Nara Massage is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a top-quality Thai massage without overpaying. Highly recommended!
We booked „Superior 2: A Peaceful Balance“ and had a wonderful massage and facial treatment. They asked beforehand if they should be careful at some points, if there’s anything that should get special care and how intense the massage should be. We could also choose the aroma therapy oil. It was super relaxing. And she was very well informed, handled everything with skill, kindness and friendliness. She asked if I was okay several times. Can totally recommend!
We visited your massage studio for an aroma massage as a whole family, and we were very pleased with the experience. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, the staff was friendly and professional, and the treatments were very enjoyable. We left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Thank you very much — we would be happy to come again and can warmly recommend your services to others.

Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
