Skybar Summer Club - Pattaya Restaurant and Rooftop Bar
Perched atop the Siam@Siam Design Hotel on Thanon Pattaya Sai 2, this rooftop bar and restaurant draws both hotel guests and walk-in visitors looking for elevated views over Pattaya. The venue is open every day from 9am until midnight, giving it genuine flexibility as a daytime dining spot, an afternoon poolside retreat, or an evening drinks destination. Non-guests are welcome and have reported being warmly received on arrival.
The rooftop setting is the clear drawcard here, with panoramic city views that visitors consistently highlight as the standout feature. The atmosphere shifts naturally through the day — quieter and more relaxed during daylight hours, livelier as the evening progresses. The hotel also features two swimming pools accessible to guests, with sunbeds, showers, and poolside food and drink service adding to the appeal for those staying on-site. It is worth noting that one reviewer found the food average and the cocktail selection underwhelming compared to the venue's promotional images, so expectations around cuisine are best kept measured.

Reviews from Google
I came to Bangkok for business. Then I extended my trip and came to this hotel in Pattaya. I stayed at the Peninsula in Bangkok. I've been to many rooftop bars. The Skybar Summer Club is truly impressive. The pool is absolutely stunning. The prices are a bit high for Thailand, but quite cheap compared to my home country—almost free. The food was also quite good. The music was great. I wish I had stayed longer. Everyone speaks English, and the staff is cool and chill. I'll definitely be back.
With a few friends, we decided to go to the skybar in this hotel in the evening, even though we were not staying there. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, and it was no problem that we were not hotel guests. The four of us ordered a cocktail, and two of my friends also had something to eat. Beautiful view over Pattaya in the evening, so it must be worth visiting during the day as well.
The food was average, the cocktail I did not like (I had some kind of gin tonic) and the vibe was not as elegant/tasteful as represented in their own pictures. BUT the view is truly amazing!

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
