Why go, and how to do it well
There's a decommissioned 747 sitting in the middle of this place, which is how it got the name and why you'll spot it from the road. The rest is a straightforward open-air night market opposite the Alcazar cabaret theater, which makes it the obvious place to eat before or after a show. Food is the reason most people come, with mango sticky rice, BBQ meats, fresh seafood, coconuts, smoothies, cold beer, and the usual novelty stalls doing crocodile and insects if you want the photo. Plenty of tables and chairs, and big screens showing sport, so it works for a long sit rather than a quick lap.
At the far end you'll find clothing, jewelry and accessories, and shoppers reckon the clothes undercut Pattaya Night Bazaar. Small pharmacy-type items like oil and inhalers go the other way, so buy those elsewhere. The lit ferris wheel is 480 baht for adults for two rounds, worth doing once. It's aimed squarely at tourists and prices reflect that, but they're still low.

A nice night market located opposite to the Alcazar show which has lots of shops selling mango sticky rice, smoothies, cold beer, Thai food, bbq meat, coconuts etc and there is also another section of shops selling clothes, jewellery etc and right in the center there is a old flight due to which it is known as Runway Market. There are lots of chairs and tables to sit and there are large screen televisions to watch games.
Nice night market with a big variety of fresh fruits and seafood. You can enjoy tasty BBQ, grab a cold beer, and have some fun at the shooting range or watch TV on a big screen. Prices are quite low, but the place is still more oriented towards tourists.
