Star Massage
Tucked along Rangsiyanon Road in the heart of Pai's town center, this massage studio has built a loyal following among travellers seeking genuine therapeutic relief rather than a purely tourist-oriented experience. Several therapists are mentioned by name in visitor feedback, with guests returning multiple times during extended stays — a telling sign of consistent quality. Treatments on offer include traditional Thai massage, foot massage, and oil massage, with therapists noted for attentiveness to individual needs and problem areas. The atmosphere leans warm and personal. Guests are typically welcomed with hot tea before or after their session, and the setting features relaxing massage music throughout. Therapists are described as professional and communicative, adjusting pressure and technique based on each client's comfort and feedback. Those with specific concerns such as back pain or tight shoulders have reported noticeable relief after a single session, suggesting the team brings genuine skill to their work rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Good to know: Opening hours are not listed online, so it is worth stopping by in person or checking with your accommodation to confirm current availability. Pai draws a mix of long-stay and passing travellers, and a studio this well-regarded can be busy — particularly in high season. Arriving in loose, comfortable clothing makes it easier to settle into treatments without delay.

Visitor Reviews
This is an amazing place with one of the best massage therapists—I go to Lucky—and she's like a professional therapist. I have back problems, and in just one session she helped me resolve my pain. Moreover, she doesn't rely on a standard approach, but truly feels where to direct her hands and attention to relax and heal the area. The back massage was very painful, but the yoga-like state was magnificent—my whole body felt whole and healed. Thank you, and I'm very glad I found this place in Pai🙏🏻
I had an excellent massage experience with Sai. She gave me a one-hour foot massage and another hour focusing on my back and shoulders. Sai attentively listened to my preferences and carefully worked out knots. I strongly recommend Sai for a relaxing and effective massage.
The best massage in Pai! I came here several times a week during my entire stay in Pai. Amazing and professional people💞🫶 always welcome me with hot tea, a smile and a good massage. Love you all so much💕

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
