Two Huts Pai
Perched on a hillside along Mae Hong Son Road 4024, Two Huts Pai draws visitors for its sweeping panoramic views across Pai's valley and surrounding mountain ranges. More of an open-air gathering spot than a conventional restaurant, it brings together travellers and locals who come primarily to watch the sunset, with live music adding to the relaxed, communal energy as the evening builds. The bohemian atmosphere is a reflection of Pai itself, and the rural location gives it a sense of discovery that more central venues tend to lack. The offering here centres on drinks and light snacks rather than full meals. Beer, coffee, soju, and popcorn are among the typical choices, making it better suited to an afternoon drink than a sit-down dinner. The open-air setting and crowd energy are the main draws, and the experience is largely defined by the view and the people sharing it. Some visitors have noted that pricing sits on the higher side relative to what is served, so arriving with calibrated expectations is sensible. Good to know: arriving around 4:30pm gives a reasonable chance of securing a good spot before the crowd fills in toward sunset. Sunglasses are worth bringing for the late afternoon light. The address can be difficult to pinpoint, so saving the Google Maps location or checking the Facebook page before heading out is recommended, particularly when visiting in the evening. Opening hours run from 11:00 to 21:00 daily.

Visitor Reviews
One of the best view of the valley below with the incredible mountain ranges!!! Restaurant has very very delicious food, way better than Night Walk Market! Delicious coffee as well. Beautifully decorated in an incredible view point. Great customer service with friendly smile!!! Scale 1-10: Food-10 Price-9 Service-10 Atmosphere-10 Cleanliness-10
Beautiful sunset view with live music, lots of people but we arrived around 430 and had our pick of spots before it started to fill up. We got popcorn and a bottle of soju. Don't forget sunglasses!
Terrible, don't go. Just kidding.☺️ It is...an absolute MUST...I just don't want to let the secret out.😁 Stunning spot to enjoy sunset with everyone else soaking it in. That's what makes the energy so good... Dreamy views of glorious sunsets with chill live music (loved the singer!). And the food?! Fresh and fantastic. Cocktails, too. Loved the mojito. Def our daily sunset spot in Pai.🌅

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
