PAI MASS RELAX
Located at a convenient address in the heart of Pai, this massage spa offers a range of treatments including traditional Thai massage and oil massage, with therapists who have drawn notable praise from visitors for their skill and intuitive technique. The air-conditioned space provides a quiet, comfortable setting — a practical contrast to some of Pai's more informal offerings — and the pricing is considered affordable even by local standards. Experiences here vary depending on the therapist, which is worth keeping in mind. Several visitors have described standout sessions focusing on the shoulders, neck, and back, with one therapist named Nong and another named Pasep receiving specific praise for their professionalism and sensitivity to client needs. Others have had less satisfying visits, suggesting it is worth communicating clearly about pressure preferences and comfort levels before and during a session. Practically speaking, the spa is open every day from 9am to 11pm, making it one of the more accessible options for travellers seeking an evening treatment after exploring the town. No booking website is listed, so walk-ins appear to be the standard approach. Visitors who prefer a firmer or lighter touch are advised to speak up at the start of the session to help ensure the treatment meets their expectations.

Visitor Reviews
This is a good salon with massage tables for little money. I had an oil massage from a male massage therapist. He is a great professional. You will get a real Thai massage, not a series of useless strokes. He has an excellent and varied acupressure technique with the right amount of force. At the same time, the therapist is polite and very delicate. The remaining oil was removed with warm, damp towels (I have not always seen this in elite salons).
The best Thai massage I've had in Thailand - amazing! Nong (the masseuse ) was gentle and kind yet strong. V intuitive and highly knowledgeable. I felt so grounded and balanced after. Total bargain at 220 BHT for one hour. I wish I could go every day. Thank you!
Best massage in Pai for me. Pasep gave me the best should and neck massage ever. Air conditioning, silent, easy to find. Cheap prices and professional massage

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
