Prawniee
Tucked away on Wanchalerm Road in the relaxed town of Pai, this small wellness and massage spa has earned a strong reputation among travellers seeking genuine, unhurried bodywork at budget-friendly prices. With a focus on authentic technique rather than a commercial atmosphere, it draws visitors who want a more personal and attentive experience than larger, busier establishments tend to offer. Guests can choose from a range of treatments including traditional Thai massage, foot massage, and oil back massage, with sessions available from 30 minutes upward. Prices are notably low, with a one-hour Thai classic massage starting at around 220 baht and a 30-minute session available for as little as 150 baht. The therapists are consistently described as kind and attentive, with small thoughtful gestures — such as providing a hot water bottle during treatment — reflecting a genuine care for client comfort. Those with specific preferences, such as more attention to certain areas of the body, may find it worth communicating this clearly before the session begins. The spa is open every day of the week from 09:00 to 22:00, making it convenient for both early risers and those looking to unwind after a full day of exploring the Pai valley. No website is listed, so booking in person or by phone is the most reliable approach. Given its small size and growing word-of-mouth following, visiting earlier in the day is a sensible way to secure a preferred time slot.

Visitor Reviews
Best massage I had in Thailand and the staff is very friendly and really really professional. Most authentic attitude and massage and doesn't feel as commercial as it felt in others shops. You won't regret. I came back almost every day and also with friends.
I got a 30 min foot massage & my boyfriend got his first massage ever (neck, shoulders & back) for 30 mins. It was 300 baht for both. The ladies were kind :) we enjoyed our massages! They gave us water and free bananas at the end. Bless them.
I asked my master to continue for another hour, because she was so good and professional! Feeling totally relaxed rejuvenated after the massage. I had a foot massage and then oil back massage.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
