Pravee's House Resort

4.0(54 reviews)

Tucked just off Pai's bustling walking street, this small resort-style accommodation offers travellers a convenient and affordable base for exploring one of northern Thailand's most beloved destinations. The well-maintained garden is a genuine highlight, giving the property a tranquil, characterful feel that belies its central location. Rooms are clean and minimalistic, and the welcoming host is frequently praised by guests for attentive, personal care. Visitors can expect basic but comfortable chalets at a price point that represents strong value for Pai — typically in the 500–600 baht range. The rooms are functional rather than luxurious, with hard beds noted by some guests, and amenities are limited, so those expecting in-room fridges or kettles may want to manage expectations accordingly. The garden setting and laid-back atmosphere have proven so appealing that some short-stay guests have extended their visits considerably. As with much of Pai's accommodation near the night market, noise from nearby bars and the road can carry until midnight or later, making it less suitable for light sleepers. Guests staying in chalets closer to the street may notice this more than others. There is no website listed, so booking in advance through a third-party platform is advisable during peak season, particularly around the cooler months of November to February when Pai draws its largest crowds.

Visitor Reviews

Came here for a few nights and stayed for 5 months (watch out for the Pai hole). Nice staff with a good location near the walking street and really well maintained garden that gives this place beautiful outlook. Sound isolation is pretty nonexistent but overall the price/quality ratio is great.

Great value for money, cheapest place we could find near the walking street Has a pretty garden and clean minimalistic room Bouns points for the absolutely sweet host that takes care of the beautiful garden

The location is excellent, just off the walking street with all the food and action there. My chalet No. 7 has seen better days but still very comfortable. The service is not the best - they only clean the room every other day. At night the music nearby can go on till quite late. Overall I had a good stay.
