The Blue Spa & Massage @Aonang Krabi Thailand
Tucked into the heart of Ao Nang, this well-regarded spa has built a strong reputation among visitors to Krabi for its skilled therapists and consistently high standards. The focus is squarely on traditional Thai massage and oil massage, with practitioners praised by guests for their technique, attentiveness, and ability to target problem areas such as neck stiffness and general muscle tension. The atmosphere is clean, calm, and professionally maintained, making it a comfortable choice for both first-time spa visitors and those who seek regular treatments while travelling. Therapists here are noted for listening to client feedback and adjusting pressure and technique accordingly, which sets the experience apart from more routine spa stops. The space is well-kept and the pricing is considered affordable relative to the quality on offer, representing solid value for a Krabi wellness experience. The spa also offers a pick-up and drop-off service for guests, which adds a practical convenience for those staying further from central Ao Nang. Good to know: The spa opens daily from 10:00am through to 11:00pm, giving travellers flexibility to book around beach trips, boat tours, or evening plans. During peak tourist season, popular time slots and specific therapists can fill quickly, so reaching out via the Facebook page in advance to confirm availability and discuss treatment preferences is a sensible approach.

Visitor Reviews
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a high-quality Thai massage here. The place was spotless and very well maintained. The price was affordable, making it great value for the experience. The masseur was highly skilled and professional, with a warm and respectful attitude. Upon arrival, I was welcomed with a lovely serving of tea and delicious sweets, which made me feel right at home. Throughout the massage, I was continuously pleasantly surprised by the expert techniques and attention to detail. The entire experience was deeply relaxing and revitalizing. After the session, I felt incredibly light and refreshed — as if a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine and rejuvenating Thai massage.
My wife and I had wonderful massages here. The massuses were very skillful and strong 💪- but also listened to our feedback and requests. My neck was stiff and aching when I came in and I feel soft and happy all over my body from thr back and neck massage I had and my wife loved her thai massage. I asked for a change to include my sore thighs as well and it was no problem. Super flexible and responsive. I loved the cookie and tea after the massage as well - the perfect topper to a memorable experience!

Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
