Loft Thai Spa & Massage - Sukhumvit 38
Tucked along Soi Saen Sa-ngop just off Sukhumvit 38, this well-regarded spa brings together traditional Thai healing techniques and contemporary treatments in a calm, loft-style setting that feels a step above the typical Bangkok massage parlour. The treatment menu covers a wide range, from classic Thai massage and aromatherapy oil massage to hydrafacials and body treatments, making it a practical choice whether the priority is deep therapeutic work, skin care, or simple recovery from a long day of sightseeing. Visitors consistently note the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff, with individual therapists frequently praised by name for their precise technique and willingness to adjust pressure throughout a session. A brief consultation at the start of each appointment allows guests to communicate preferences and any health considerations. The atmosphere is described as calm and luxurious without feeling clinical, and treatments represent strong value relative to comparable spa experiences in Western cities. Good to know: The spa is open every day from 10:00 AM to midnight, which makes it well-suited for late evening appointments after dinner or a full day out. The Sukhumvit 38 location is within easy reach of BTS Thong Lo station, so no private transport is needed. Given the steady demand the spa attracts, booking in advance is recommended, particularly for weekend visits or evening slots.

Visitor Reviews
I had such a wonderful experience at Loft Thai Spa (Sukhumvit 38)! The atmosphere was calm, luxurious, and relaxing from the moment I walked in. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, welcoming me with a refreshing drink before the treatment. I booked the full body scrub treatment, and it was amazing. The therapist used warm milk with a gentle scrub that made my skin instantly smooth, soft, and glowing without any irritation. The private room was spacious, with both a bathtub and a shower, beautifully decorated with plants – it felt like a true retreat in the city. After the treatment, they applied lotion that absorbed quickly, leaving my skin nourished and refreshed. I also loved the little details, like finishing the session with Thai desserts and warm tea. If you’re looking for a place to truly relax and pamper yourself in Bangkok, I highly recommend Loft Thai Spa. A perfect balance of comfort, luxury, and professional care.
i received an Ultimate Hydrafacial and loved everything about my experience at Loft. the lady who worked on me was very gentle and always checking up on me if things were too hot, cold, harsh but i did not need to ask for any adjustments because it was already perfect. the facility was very neat, clean, and beautifully decorated. they give you butterfly pea tea as you’re checking in then some coconut snacks + tea as you leave. just a tip for foreign travelers, traffic in bangkok is no joke. it’s comparable to Los Angeles or New York so please give yourself an extra 15-25 minutes to get here. i was a little late to my appointment but the staff were still very kind which i was grateful for. also, it’s located down a narrow-ish alleyway, so also be mindful of that. would highly recommend and would also be coming back next time i visit bangkok :)
For $80 USD, you receive excellent value and truly wonderful service. My massage therapist, Lady Peach, was incredibly kind and attentive. I initially thought I might prefer stronger pressure, but the medium pressure was actually perfect—very comfortable and relaxing, to the point where I fell asleep. They also provide complimentary butterfly pea tea, hot tea, and a local treat after the massage, which was a lovely touch. I highly recommend the oil massage in particular. The staff were extremely flexible and understanding as well—they allowed us to store our suitcases and were very patient when we were dealing with stomach issues. Overall, a warm, professional, and thoughtful experience. Highly recommended.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
