About Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai)
The Eastern Bus Terminal, called Ekkamai by everyone, is the Bangkok bus station for the east coast, on Sukhumvit Road beside BTS Ekkamai. Buses to Pattaya leave 16 times a day from 05:00 for ฿144, and others run to Rayong and Ban Phe for Koh Samet and to Trat.
The government 999 bus to Koh Chang leaves at 07:45 and goes all the way to the Ao Thammachat ferry pier for ฿329, and Trat buses run through the day from about 05:00.
