CC's Hideaway
Tucked along Patak Road in Karon, CC's Hideaway is a small retreat-style hotel that draws guests seeking a more purposeful escape from Phuket's busier tourist zones. The property offers packaged retreat experiences, including yoga programs that bundle accommodation, meals, activities, and transfers into a single booking — an appealing option for travellers who want a structured, all-inclusive getaway rather than a standard hotel stay. The Karon location keeps things relatively low-key compared to central Phuket, and the interior of the property consistently surprises first-time visitors who find the rooms comfortable, modern, and well-appointed despite a modest street-level appearance.
Staff receive frequent praise for attentiveness and hospitality, and the food on-site has been highlighted positively by guests. The property centres around a pool, which forms the social hub of the venue. It is worth noting that the atmosphere can lean social and lively at times, with poolside gatherings that may not suit travellers expecting a strictly quiet or meditative retreat environment.

Reviews from Google
CC’s Hideaway in Phuket was absolutely amazing — I felt right at home from the moment I arrived thanks to the incredible staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The food was excellent every day, and I had such an awesome time throughout my stay. The daily tours were fabulous, fun and very well planned. A special mention to the tour guides Nim and Hong — they are wonderful, incredibly knowledgeable and truly a highlight of my experience. I also loved my Thai cooking class with the talented and beautiful Chef Por — such a great experience! The fragrance master-class with Omi was uplifting and something really special. Beach yoga with Bambi is an absolute must and cannot be missed — such a beautiful experience. I’m also really looking forward to coming back to enjoy David’s yoga classes next time. This isn’t a flashy five-star resort focused on luxury and opulence — instead it’s a beautiful, unique place designed for relaxation, connection and truly unwinding. Overall, I highly recommend CC’s Hideaway to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable yoga retreat in Phuket.
From the outside front view, I honestly thought I had made a mistake—it didn’t look very appealing at first. But once I went upstairs, I was so glad I was wrong. The experience inside is completely different from the first impression. The room quality really impressed me. The bed was thick, super comfortable, and perfect for a good night’s sleep. I also loved the details inside the room, especially the paintings by local Thai artists—it added such a nice, authentic touch. The property also has a restaurant with many vegan options. It is a bit on the expensive side, but the quality of the food is excellent and worth it. The staff were professional, friendly, and spoke good English, which made everything easy and pleasant. The only downside is that the walls are a bit thin, so don’t expect complete soundproofing. Overall, definitely worth the money, and I’d happily recommend this place.
If your idea of a 'retreat' is a hotel around a pool where groups of girls get drunk and sing karaoke in the evening, this is for you - see the videos I've attached. When making my booking I stipulated I was looking for a calm and quiet place where I could recover. My expectation, (naturally) was I was booking a wellness retreat designed to promote well-being and a place I could 'retreat' from the stresses of daily life, re-connect with body and mind and recover. Having spoken to the Manager explaining this wasn't possible when a bunch of girls were singing Sweet Caroline and Dancing Queen like cats being dragged through a hedge backwards, and that I would like to leave (naturally as CC's hideaway was 'not as advertised'). Wishing not to seek any conflict i asked politely that I would like to leave and be refunded the nights not stayed. I was told this would be sorted that day, therefore left the hotel. Once I had gone I was informed I'd be charged two extra nights from leaving the 'retreat' experience. Hence me feeling obliged to share this review. Recently I went to a hotel and they refunded us the final night as one of our party was ill and we had to leave, which shows you not every hotel is so unkind. And a hotel is what this this is, with activities, massage and yoga bolted on. This does not feel like a calm and relaxing retreat when you're there, at all. If you want to go on a fun packed holiday, with rooms around the pool, which includes some massage and yoga this would be for you, but this certainly is not a retreat in the true sense, as anyone would understand it. The rooms are dated, and the food is average too and not up to the standard you'd expect for the money you pay. I only leave negative reviews when I've been treated poorly and feel others should be aware that this place is not a proper retreat and you will not receive a full refund if you are unhappy & wish to leave.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
