CC's Hideaway

4.6(441 reviews)

Tucked along Patak Road in Karon, CC's Hideaway is a small retreat-style hotel that draws guests seeking a more purposeful escape from Phuket's busier tourist zones. The property offers packaged retreat experiences, including yoga programs that bundle accommodation, meals, activities, and transfers into a single booking — an appealing option for travellers who want a structured, all-inclusive getaway rather than a standard hotel stay. The Karon location keeps things relatively low-key compared to central Phuket, and the interior of the property consistently surprises first-time visitors who find the rooms comfortable, modern, and well-appointed despite a modest street-level appearance. Staff receive frequent praise for attentiveness and hospitality, and the food on-site has been highlighted positively by guests. The property centres around a pool, which forms the social hub of the venue. It is worth noting that the atmosphere can lean social and lively at times, with poolside gatherings that may not suit travellers expecting a strictly quiet or meditative retreat environment. Good to know: Prospective guests seeking a serene, silent retreat experience should review the property's current vibe carefully before booking, as the atmosphere can vary depending on the guest mix. The yoga retreat packages are priced at a premium but include considerable inclusions, making them worth evaluating against the full cost of booking components separately. Contacting the property directly before arrival is advisable to confirm package availability, current programming, and any specific requirements for the retreat format you have in mind.

Visitor Reviews

CC’s Hideaway in Phuket was absolutely amazing — I felt right at home from the moment I arrived thanks to the incredible staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The food was excellent every day, and I had such an awesome time throughout my stay. The daily tours were fabulous, fun and very well planned. A special mention to the tour guides Nim and Hong — they are wonderful, incredibly knowledgeable and truly a highlight of my experience. I also loved my Thai cooking class with the talented and beautiful Chef Por — such a great experience! The fragrance master-class with Omi was uplifting and something really special. Beach yoga with Bambi is an absolute must and cannot be missed — such a beautiful experience. I’m also really looking forward to coming back to enjoy David’s yoga classes next time. This isn’t a flashy five-star resort focused on luxury and opulence — instead it’s a beautiful, unique place designed for relaxation, connection and truly unwinding. Overall, I highly recommend CC’s Hideaway to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable yoga retreat in Phuket.

Cc’s is an absolute gem. As others have said, I was a bit concerned when I pulled up but I was blown away by my stay here. The rooms were lovely - comfortable and modern with smart tvs. The staff were fantastic - warm, welcoming and helpful. And the pool was perfect. What really makes CCs shine are the activities they offer and the food. Every meal I ate at the restaurant was better than the last. It was healthy and extremely tasty. And the comprehensive yoga and wellness program was a true treat. You can either book a room inclusive of the wellness program, or pay per class. They offer yoga, Pilates, meditation and outings each day. The other fantastic element of CCs is the community. It was the perfect combination of friendly but not a raging party. The environment fosters social connection without it feeling like a 20-something’s hostel. As a solo traveler looking for a more laid back vibe, it was the perfect environment. I wholeheartedly recommend CC’s and I hope my travels bring me back some day.

From the outside front view, I honestly thought I had made a mistake—it didn’t look very appealing at first. But once I went upstairs, I was so glad I was wrong. The experience inside is completely different from the first impression. The room quality really impressed me. The bed was thick, super comfortable, and perfect for a good night’s sleep. I also loved the details inside the room, especially the paintings by local Thai artists—it added such a nice, authentic touch. The property also has a restaurant with many vegan options. It is a bit on the expensive side, but the quality of the food is excellent and worth it. The staff were professional, friendly, and spoke good English, which made everything easy and pleasant. The only downside is that the walls are a bit thin, so don’t expect complete soundproofing. Overall, definitely worth the money, and I’d happily recommend this place.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas

Learn Wat Pho First

Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.

Communicate Pressure Preferences

Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.

Book Longer Sessions

A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
