Heat levels tend to run mild by default, so say clearly how spicy you want it when you order. This dish looks absolutely delicious! The chicken pieces have a beautiful char and vibrant reddish-brown color, suggesting they’re well-marinated and perfectly roasted. The garnish of fresh herbs adds brightness, and the dipping sauce in the center makes the presentation inviting. It looks flavorful, juicy, and restaurant-quality.
After being disappointed by another Indian restaurant, we decided to try Taj. The chicken tikka was great, the garlic naan was great, the rice was great, and the mango lassi was great. The chicken momo, however, is not something I’d recommend—it wasn’t good at all. That said, when we mentioned it to the staff, they kindly brought us spring rolls, which were really nice. The hospitality is excellent, and the vibe is great—busy, lively, and the food feels fresh. Overall, it’s a good place to eat; just stick to the more popular items on the menu.
The restaurant has a nice ambiance and is located in a good, convenient area. The service was polite and attentive, which made the experience pleasant. Coming to the food, it was good but not exceptional. We tried the dal tadka with rice, which was decent and comforting. We also ordered paneer butter masala with roti. While the gravy was okay, the paneer itself tasted slightly off and wasn’t very enjoyable, though it was filling. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re craving Indian food in Krabi, mainly for the ambiance, location, and service, but the food could definitely be improved.
