Khao kha moo is the whole point here. Braised pork leg, slow-cooked until it collapses, spooned over rice with pickled greens and a boiled egg. That's the dish people drive into Nang Rong for, and it's what I'd order without looking at anything else.
Don't come expecting much in the way of surroundings. This is a food-first place, the sort where the counter and the pot do the talking and nobody's fussing over the tables. Portions are generous and prices sit firmly in the budget bracket, which is a large part of why it stays busy. If you're heading out to Phanom Rung, it's a sensible fuel stop either on the way there or on the way back, and it doubles nicely as breakfast if you're the kind of traveler who can face pork leg at eight in the morning. Plenty of people here are.
Midday is when it fills up. I'd aim for either side of the lunch rush if you'd rather not wait in line or hover for a seat.
