We were in Kanchanaburi for 3 nights and ate here every night. The food was superb and the service charming. We forgot to take photos for 2 of the meals but the one pictured was coconut chicken soup, fish in lime chilli and garlic and eggplant salad, all of which were superb. I highly recommend this restaurant, the high ratings are not an exaggeration.
Clean, airy, great food and great service. Not overpriced and you can feel at ease to bring your kids here. Very good overall.
The restaurant offers both outdoor and indoor seating, though the ambiance is quite basic. Due to higher rating, we decided to give it a try. The seafood curry with squid and prawn was enjoyable, but it didn’t quite live up to our expectations. The taste was mild. On the other hand, the stir-fried green peas with prawns were a highlight. The green peas were fresh and crunchy, and the prawns were cooked to perfection. The flavors were well-balanced. The tom yum soup was creamy and delicious, with fresh prawns. Some diners may prefer a non-creamy soup, but this one was quite good. Overall, the restaurant is a nice place, possibly popular among tourists. It serves decent Thai food, but there are better options available. It’s a good place to grab a quick and satisfying meal.
