Akira Club Pattaya
Tucked away on Soi Pattaya 15, Akira Club operates as a full electronic nightclub rather than a standard bar, making it a legitimate alternative to Pattaya's more well-known venues. The club punches above its size with a serious sound system, a large LED wall that dominates the visual experience, and a rotating lineup of DJs and live performers. Regular events and dancer performances keep the energy high throughout the night, and the crowd tends to be a sociable mix of tourists and locals looking for something with more atmosphere than a typical street-side bar. Despite its compact footprint, the venue is well set up and professionally run. Visitors consistently highlight the attentiveness of both the bar staff and security, which contributes to a setting that feels lively without feeling unsafe. The side-street location keeps it slightly off the main tourist drag, giving it more of a discovered, local-favourite feel compared to the larger clubs on Walking Street. Good to know: Akira is a nightclub, so it comes into its own later in the evening — arriving early may mean a quieter atmosphere than expected. Specific opening hours are not published online, so it is worth checking directly before visiting, particularly on weeknights or during low season. The Soi Pattaya 15 location is walkable from the main entertainment zones, making it easy to include as part of a broader night out.

Visitor Reviews
Myst, Republic, and 808 are my usual go-to, but I recently stumbled upon Akira, a hidden gem tucked away on a side street. It’s an absolute blast! They host performances and have multiple DJs spinning simultaneously. Every time I visit, the place is packed with stunning women and hardly any guys. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I have a memorable experience. Akira is easily missed on the walking street. I highly recommend going after midnight.
If you come to Pattaya, you have to visit this nightclub. It has the best drinks and modern music. It’s truly excellent, with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The vibes are unforgettable. I’ve been there many times, and it’s honestly the best nightclub. Mike was very kind and friendly, and he helped us choose the best drinks. I highly recommend this place.
Great electronic club with a cool atmosphere, an impressive sound system, and a massive LED wall that really elevates the experience. The waiter and the security staff were both very professional and friendly. Absolutely recommended!

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
