808 Night Club
Sitting in the heart of Walking Street, 808 Night Club draws a mixed crowd of tourists and locals looking for a proper club experience rather than a bar crawl. The venue leans into a "big room" format, setting it apart from the smaller, more casual spots along the strip. Music runs toward hip-hop and afrobeats, and reviewers consistently highlight the DJ quality as a standout feature. The atmosphere is described as energetic and social, with a crowd that tends to be welcoming to solo travellers and groups alike. The space is noted for being clean and the staff generally attentive, though some visitors have flagged inconsistencies in service and practical frustrations like limited card payment facilities. Drinks are available at the bar, though at least one reviewer noted that cocktails can be heavy on ice, so it is worth specifying preferences when ordering. Walking Street operates almost exclusively after dark, so arriving in the evening is the natural approach. The club is within easy walking distance of restaurants and other nightlife venues, making it straightforward to build a full night around the area. Casual clothing suits the setting, and given the volume of foot traffic on Walking Street on weekends, mid-week visits tend to offer a slightly more relaxed experience for those who prefer it.

Visitor Reviews
If you are looking for a high-energy, local-style party, 808 Night Club is the place to be. The music is obviously loud—but that’s exactly what you’re there for. It’s one of the few spots in the city that stays open late, making it a great destination for the after-hours crowd. I was impressed by the table service, which kept things organized even when the club was packed. It’s mostly a local Thai crowd, which gives it a much more authentic nightlife feel compared to some of the more touristy areas. If you want great music, a vibrant atmosphere, and a place to keep the night going, 808 is a solid choice.
Amazing nightclub with one of the best DJs in town! The music was on point all night and the vibe was perfect. The environment is clean, energetic, and feels safe. The staff provided great service super friendly and fast. What really surprised me was how affordable the bottle service was compared to other clubs. Definitely worth it and I’ll be coming back again!
Best night club for hiphop and afrobeats. U will really enjoy. Lots of african Americans here. Service is good and staff treat u very nice. Will definitely come back.

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
