Visitors have two main options for reaching Koh Larn. The public ferry costs around 30 baht per person and takes approximately 45 minutes, arriving directly at Tawaen Beach. Speedboats offer a faster crossing at a higher price but dock on the east side of the island, requiring an additional tuk-tuk ride to reach the main beaches. Yachts and chartered vessels are also available for trips to other islands, with pricing varying by destination and vessel type. The pier can be busy during peak periods, though departures are frequent and the boarding process is generally well-organised. Travellers should aim to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before their intended departure, particularly between November and February when services fill more quickly.
