Buffalo Bar
Tucked away on Thanon Isara in Pak Nam, Buffalo Bar is a characterful cocktail bar and pub that rewards those who stumble upon it. The interior has been described by visitors as cinematic, while the garden setting brings a strong nature ambiance, with plenty of plants creating a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere that encourages guests to linger well into the evening.
The bar specialises in cocktails, with visitors noting fair prices and a pleasant drinking experience. The owners have drawn praise for being warm and genuinely welcoming, and the music selection adds to the convivial feel — more than one visitor has arrived for a quick drink and ended up staying far longer than planned. It is the kind of place that works equally well as a casual stop or a proper night out.
One practical note worth bearing in mind: reviews suggest the non-alcoholic mocktail options have been inconsistent, with at least a couple of guests finding them disappointing in terms of balance and flavour. Those who do not drink alcohol may want to ask about current offerings before ordering. For cocktail drinkers, however, Buffalo Bar appears to deliver a solid evening in a setting that stands out from the more generic bars in the Krabi area.

Reviews from Google
We accidentally found the bar. it looked like a fun place so we wanted to stop for a beer. Because of good music and very kind owners we stayed much longer. We had a great time and want to be back as much as we can.
Nature ambience with lots of plants. Owner was friendly and cocktail was nice too. Prices for cocktail was fair.
My wife was recommended a mocktail because she is breastfeeding. It was undrinkable — only syrup and sugar, no real flavor at all. We have been in Thailand for a month and tried many mocktails before. None were ever this bad. They charged 150 baht for this poor-quality drink. The total bill was 320 baht. We even offered to pay 300 baht, but they refused and threatened to call the police over the remaining 20 baht. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff and manager. Absolutely not recommended.

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
